This is a fun little game, and I'm teetering on the edge of recommending it or not. It looks like it has a lot of potential, and the things that are in the game are pretty polished. The music is good, the graphics are delightful, the core game is quite fun. The real issue is all the things that are missing from the game: The settings options are only semi-functional and don't save between sessions. There is no saving the game. It is very very easy to accidentally quit a game (which you can't save) from the settings screen. Those are the core functionality things missing, and they have said they plan on doing a bunch of polish on these sorts of issues now that they've released, so those might get cleaned up. I think for $5 it's okay and pretty fun, but I think the game is missing out on a lot of potential by not having things like meta progression, different characters to play as, different starting decks, etc. Right now what kind of deck you end up with is entirely in the hands of RNG, because there are only a handful of cards that really have interesting combinations, and you have so few chances to pick new cards to add, and no control over what might appear in that pool. All in all it adds up to rarely getting to access the cool combinations that this sort of game is generally geared towards letting you mess around with. Still, when you do get a lich summoning a bunch of free skeletons every turn and someone else buffing every skeleton on the board to insane levels of power, it does feel very very good to drop a stack of a hundred super skeletons on top of the boss and watch him get annihilated. TL:DR Fun little game, not bad for the price, but really hoping it expands into more, or has a follow-up title that really delves into the potential here.
The game has units which completely ignore your front line, either chucking them behind or attacking the back row. It kind of ruins the defensive nature of the game.
a short but fun auto-battler! i hope the devs will give it more content cuz i want to play more but after 3 houers i fell like i have seen most of the game
there is bug that make the whole game freeze! and it doesnt have a save progression!
Fun little game. Read the lore pages - they are good 😂
Cute little game, great to play for an afternoon! Would love to see its mechanics expanded upon in a sequel
Bonk me Troll Mommy
I enjoyed the game. It is interesting, has excellent music, and works like expected. It needs more content to really be worth the price even at $5, but it is nicely done and unique enough to recommend even as is. Don't expect more than a few hours before setting aside.
Good but content wise it's a bit lacking, would like an option to customize your deck before the run starts with a meta progression. Very good baseline of systems to expand on. Extra options to also merge 3+ unit stacks and reposition would be nice as high cost spells and a stack duplication spell.
It doesn't look great, but enjoyable and fun
