Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

gotta recommend any game that can give me a gnarly headache

I’ve completed Metal Gear Survive twice, first on PS4, and later I bought it on Steam and played through it again. What makes this game so fun is the open-world exploration. The open world in this game features a unique dust storm mechanic that covers most of it. When you enter one of these dust storms, your vision becomes extremely limited—you can barely see a few meters ahead. The world turns dark and creepy, your oxygen tank starts draining so you can breathe, and your map stops working completely! So now you’re trying to explore this mysterious world with: - Very limited vision - No map - A dark, eerie atmosphere - A constant oxygen timer ticking down You can’t just casually stroll around, you’re on a clock, and every step feels tense and risky and when you get lost inside the storm you feel suffocated. This style of exploration isn’t for everyone, but if you love a challenge and want to experience a truly unique open-world mechanic that no other game offers, then Metal Gear Survive absolutely shines here.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 16: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

not that bad.
Unironically a fun and good survival game. Very challenging but enjoyable. Having played the game many years after Kojima's departure from Konami and the drama that followed, this game deserved far better than the initial reception it received. If it wasn't for the fans joining the bandwagon in hating the game, this game would be considered one of the better MGS spin-offs. It is a shame it didn't get the love it deserved. And although development on the game has stopped, I would love it if Konami continued support and started adding content to the game again, but as it is now it is still fun to play even to this day. I highly reccomend.
Its a fun game but not as good as MGSV, story is a little weak, gameplay has a good loop. overall its 7/10.
This is a fun game.
