Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 322.75/day in the week to Jul 15 → 6.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

6.6 saat dayanabildim. Oyun güzel eyvallah da bu port ne be konami. Ananı avradını sikeyim. Oyun input delayden oynanılmıyor. Emülatörle falan oynayın uğraşmayın bu sikindirik portla.

I'll go against the grain and say that this is a fine collection, especially on sale. Every possible extra I could think of is thrown in. All 3 versions of MGS1 + VR missions including Integral are here, the graphic novels, screenplay, the MSX and NES versions of the first two games, an HD texture pack for MGS3, and more. The menus are super sharp and have great art. The only things missing I can think of are some of the bonus stuff from MGS3's PS2 special edition, some of which wasn't even in the HD collection on PS3. That includes some stuff from the Substance disc, the entire Existence disc (all cutscenes from MGS3 made into a movie) and the ancient PS2 multiplayer. The Twin Snakes version of MGS1 would have been awesome to include but is probably a licensing nightmare. Other than Twin Snakes I don't really feel like I'm missing out. I was really happy the NES ports were included in particular since they're totally unique games compared to the original MSX versions, and have never been re-released before so you'd have to track down the original carts or emulate. I think the (optional) graphical improvements to MGS1 in particular are well-done. MGS1 doesn't feel like it's running in an emulator to me - pretty sure it's a decomp anyways. I did download mods for each game to get bug fixes and proper widescreen/60fps support for MGS1, which took all of 3 minutes to set up. I'm happy with the collection having played and still owning the originals as well as the HD versions on PS3 and collecting some of the comics. Yes, it would be nice if a few more graphical enhancements had been made by Konami up front, particularly for MGS1 but I really don't think this deserves the hate, especially on sale and with a willingness to install at minimum 1 mod per game.
crazy how well this game still holds up today it truly was ahead of its time
Kojima ci sa' fare.
I played metal gear solid for the first time on ps1 when i was a kid. It was actually the first game i ever played. At that time i didn’t understand french very well so my father was always with me. The people behind the codec would tell me what to do and my father would translate it for me and explain what I had to do 😂 Playing this game again now brings back so many memories from my childhood. The music, the codec, the characters everything just reminds me of those days playing ps1 with my father. For me, this game is more than just a game. It’s a big part of my childhood and one of the games that i will always remember. 10/10 ❤️
This game has one of the best stories I've ever seen in a video game. I guess you can say that this game was pretty... Solid.
