Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 322.75/day in the week to Jul 15 → 6.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I played during the july 2026 free weekend, and it was sick! Only got through part of it, but the controls (only uses keyboard) is very interesting and unique, along with the camera angles and movement. The gameplay loop is challenging but grounded enough where it motivates you to keep playing. Very fun. 9/10 solid recommendation. (Haha SOLID)

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Such a good game and to think it was made on the PS1 is insane. The story and voice acting are incredible. Surprisingly the graphics didn't really bother me, but my god the controls made me feel like it was my first time holding a controller so definitely give it plenty of time to adjust. Either way fully recommend!
I'm giving this a mixed review. Good game but PC port still has a lot of hijinks to iron out.
Thanks to Konami offering a free weekend, I was able to immerse myself in the game and experience it for the first time. I've been familiar with MGS memes on the internet so I kinda knew some lore about it before I even started the game. Please grab the MGSM2Fix from github. It enables Hd Textures, proper fullscreen, proper text resolution for the game. It's just amazing how this mod makes the game look better PREMISE You basically play as Solid Snake, a spy agent who's sent to stop Liquid Snake and his group of terrorists from acquiring nuke codes. You and your comms team work your way through obstacles, boss fights and attempt to reach Liquid in hopes of shutting down his plans. GAMEPLAY The controls are very dated and control like jank but if you're like me and willing to spend some time fiddling with controls, you'll find them somewhat easy to manage over time and work along with the jankiness. The gameplay basically consists of you crawling aroun, avoiding combat with lurking enemies and getting detected by CCTVs. There's also a handful of boss fights sprinkle in between stealth sections. They feel very different from each other, and forces you to play by their rules. Patience is the key to this game overall. It's a game about learning and improvising. VERDICT After doing two playthroughs, I've come to finally appreciate why this game is so loved everywhere. I got both the endings - first Otacon ending, then Meryl ending. This game still holds up- excellent puzzle-like gameplay, engaging stealth with enemy AI. Unique boss fights and Codec narrations that are essentially story cutscenes. There's a lot of twists an a lot to unpack here. The game has a solid replay value as well due to the average playtime being 6-8 hours long. Subsequent playthroughts can take even shorter now that you're familiar with every level and boss fights. Despite all that, I would recommend to grab the game for 500 rs (6$ in my country) or lower. Wait for a sale. Konami has to still fix the port and raise it to modern gaming standards, It's been 3 years already. Get your stuff together, Konami. Also the lack of proper keyboard support is atrocious for a PC port.
