Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Considerando que são jogos antigos eles entregam bastante a experiencia de um metal gear só que mais limitado mas é legal ver a origem de personagens e o confronto entre Solid Snake e Big Boss que praticamente so corre nesses jogos
I swear to god this ♥♥♥♥ is harder than dark souls. Oh, and don't forget "R R L R L L R L L R R L R L R R".

If you are a hardcore fan looking to trace the roots of the franchise, see where Hideo Kojima's madness first took shape, or hunt down those achievement milestones, this package is an essential piece of gaming history. Just be prepared for some classic 8-bit/16-bit pain. The PC port itself is a bit bare-bones (don't expect modern graphical options or native save-states), and you will likely need a guide unless you want to spend hours face-planting into every door and frequency. But for seeing where the legend began? Worth every penny.
A great an accessible way to play the original Metal Gear games! Presentation is slick and solid too, befitting of the franchise. I like the added digital documents for extras as well. I owned the PS2 version of Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence which is originally how I played these classics but I really like having an easier way to replay these two Metal Gear games again.
It's so interesting to go back and play Metal Gear 1 today, because even though it was a 1987 game, So many modern mechanics both in Metal Gear and in many other games are were first used in this. It’s definitely got late 80s retro game jank but It holds up, If you have a guide for some of those BS moments lol.
The original Metal Gear was absolutely ground-breaking in 1987 but it's aged horribly and the story isn't even worth mentioning. Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake is a much better game overall with gameplay surprisingly similar to MGS1 and a relatively fleshed out story (for 1990) that's referenced in later games. The only real issues are that it's very easy to get lost or miss that one specific item in a random room you need to progress through a puzzle an hour later. Speaking of puzzles, some of them are completely non-nonsensical, I don't know how you're expected to solve something like the owl puzzle without using a guide, it's not even complicated, the solution just makes no sense. Overall I wouldn't recommended the original game unless you're interested in achievements or just curious, Metal Gear 2 I would recommended but with the caveat of having a walkthrough handy to look at when (not if) you get stuck.
garbage lmao at least the story is good, wasn't expecting such a weird twist the second one is horrible too first boss, I have no rations, I'm 3 hits of hp and only after dying a bunch of times do they realize that MAYBE, just MAYBE this boss isn't fair enough to no-hit on the first run could have put a healing item near the entrance, but sure holly can go ahead and suck a fat one, useless woman
who tf is big boss recruiting in these games?? 'like yeah bro, watch out for machine gun kid because he has a machine gun' or 'be careful snake it's running man, he'll run away from you' i would've clocked them in they ♥♥♥♥ if they existed IRL real ♥♥♥♥
slightly annoying in the way everything from that era was, but I love that you can see the little kojima touches that would define his later work already being kind of toyed with here. the biggest surprise to me was how much of a glow-up MG1 -> MG2 was in terms of new mechanics, whereas MG2 -> MGS1 feels like less of a leap despite the technological jump between the two
