All the other reviews are true however I need to emphasize that this game is VERY SHORT. I meandered about and took my time and finished the game in just over 2 hours. It also has a rather low-effort ending that really needed some more effort. Honestly not sure if it was worth the money despite how cheap it was.
Very very short but a lot of fun. I recommend it.
Absolutely awful dynamic FOV (changes from sprint to walk) makes this game unplayable. Why can't new games contain basic accessibility options. I'm returning the game.
I want more
I encountered a bug where at the second level I randomly started hovering mid air like I'm a f-ing nasa pilot. Other than that great game.
Fun indie game with a very short playtime (my single playthrough on hard took about 2 hours with me exploring as much as possible). Has a cool atmosphere, somewhat similar to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. SoC. There's some choice in how you approach gunfights (e.g. tactical, run-and-gun, etc.), not much room for stealth though from what I could tell. There's quite a few lore tidbits scattered around to find and read, as well as couple puzzles when exploring although I don't think any were on the main path so not necessary to solve. The combat itself felt a bit easy without modifiers, since from what I could tell enemy bullets are projectiles whilst player bullets seemed to be hitscan, giving you an edge. You also take a lot of damage to actually die since you effectively have five healthbars, only gaining a small debuff with each one lost. Mind you, I think this may be easily countered with modifiers since one makes each healthbar only take a single hit (I think? or maybe it was that each time you take damage you lose one of the healthbars, but your current healthbar still takes damage as normal?) and another reduces the amount of portable heals available. From what I can gather, this is solo developer (not accounting for translators and in the case of this game the person that made new animations for the weapons) first published game so it's overall very good considering that. Based on the developer's website, it also seems like they're more interested in the aspects I listed positively anyways.
i love the environment, the atmosphere, the graphics overall. i also love how it looks like a game from the early 2000's. i also love how the it was able to convey the gigantic concrete structures.
