About
An occult visual novel with point and click mechanics.
You wake up to a fire in the middle of the night. This was probably caused by your Magick, which you have very little control over...
To tame this ability, you decide to take matters into your own hand, and end up at a small witches' coven- a decrepit house in the middle of nowhere. Mesmer, one of these witches, greets you at the door, and thus your Magickal training commences,,,

,,, though, not without a few bumps along the road.
A handcrafted point & click narrative with branching dialogue and impactful choices
Three "sessions" with distinct gameplay styles to train your magickal ability
Many interactable objects to practice your Magick on
A convenient chapter select system, allowing you to hop into any desired story beat
Ending variations for abandoning the story in the middle
An enchanting original soundtrack
Secrets! Lots of them...

God's most trans MC btw. Anyways, Mesmalie is a short and sweet experience about the dangers of magic, perfectionism, and lack of conviction. I recommend it, if only because Mesmer is such a fun deuteragonist.
A very lovely point and click experience, that's all there is to say!
I really enjoyed this game. With my ever-climbing hours on the game, (I completed
the fourth act
and everything else story-wise in 2.6 hours) I can safely say this has my recommendation. Now let's get on with the whole pro-con thing. Pros - The "true ending" really ties everything else together. After completing it, everything makes sense. From the way Mesmer acts to the way everything looks so dilapidated, I left the game feeling extremely satisfied. - The music is very nice. My favorite has to be "Mesmer, Malady, and Mirphie". The gramophone UI is also very nice. - None of the puzzles or minigames were too hard. I completed them within the first or second tries. - The art style is just lovely. It feels very whimsical. - I feel very inspired. - This game got me THINKING. Like, there were many a time where I wanted to at least backhand Mesmer. When I realized that the game was literally preventing me from killing her, I knew I was in too far deep. Cons - Ahe,,, there are no cons here! jk lol. !!MAJOR SPOILER WARNING AHEAD!!
During the boss fight with Mesmer, most of her attacks were really hard to dodge, leading me to burning the house down. I would mostly blame this on a skill issue, but still. Tone down the Majick!!

You can kill Mesmer early. I genuinely thought about it several times and was like "nahhhh she'll be fine" and then bam. Head gone. Also, during the second session minigame, the RNG will just make you kill her instead. Like, she'll throw a bottle on top of herself, basically forcing you to hit it if you're desperate. This isn't an issue about the game, it just makes me sad :(

You can also kill yourself with your majick during the second session. I would have liked to see how Mesmer would react to it, but it makes sense in hindsight.
Overall, I would give this game a solid 9/10. It's quick, easy, has soul, depth, majick, many, many burnable items, and I came out of it a different person than I was before.
I liked it when murphie said "its murphin time" and murphed all over the place
Абсолютная синема за свои деньги, очаровательно.
So charming and just an absolute delight the whole way through. The art style bangs, the music bangs, the minigames are fun, the story is captivating, and there's just so much more to see than you would on 1 playthrough. I found myself going back and my jaw dropping at things I didn't realize could even happen. HIGHLY recommended to anyone who loves unique games that are just bursting with love :)
A wonderful visual novel with engaging writing, interesting minigames and a very good soundtrack. Well worth the price of admission.
weird creepy adventure featuring charming characters. very pretty. good vibes.
