Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Become more than human. Lose yourself doing it.
Meridian is a cyberpunk-noir RPG that runs on choices. You're a runner in a dying corporate city, taking the jobs nobody signs their name to — and how you take them is up to you. Talk your way through, sneak past, hack their network from a corner booth, or settle it on the grid in tactical, turn-based combat.
Build a runner your way — six classes, origins, traits, and a wall of cyberware — then roll the dice on skill checks, dive the net past its ICE, and live with the cost of every upgrade: more power, less of the person you started as. Six endings are waiting, and the city's been writing yours the whole time.

Starting from the top, yes there is a LOT of AI usage in this game, however, underneath that controversial, big, red mark is a genuinely fun and easily accessible cyberpunk text RPG. The only other game that I have played I can compare it to is Cyberpunk Dreams. As a text based RPG, I have been greatly enjoying it. Its easy to pick up, easy to learn, the turn based combat does not feel like it wastes time. Fights are quick with lots of options. There is a good atmosphere here. Dialogue is a little scuffed due to being very roughly translated; but it gets the point across. If you are willing to overlook a solo dev's use of AI and some janky dialogue, I would recommend giving this a go.
Within its genre, Meridian feels like a genuinely large and ambitious project, especially for an indie game. It is a dark cyberpunk RPG that combines text-driven quests and choices with turn-based tactical combat, character progression (mini spoiler: though that depends on how you look at it), implants, reputation, and relationships with the city’s various factions. What stands out most is the cohesive visual presentation and the detailed character creation system. Your class, origin, stats, lifepath, traits, and installed chrome already give you plenty of room to build a distinctive character that reflects your preferred playstyle. The interface looks clean and atmospheric, while the combat system is noticeably more complex than its largely text-driven presentation might initially suggest. At the same time, Meridian does not spend much time introducing the player to its world and throws you into the local terminology almost immediately, so its narrative style and the way the city works take some time to get used to. Perhaps the introductory section will be expanded further down the line. Still, beyond that initial barrier, you can clearly feel the amount of work that went into the game and the many interconnected systems beneath the surface. Overall, I recommend it to fans of text-based RPGs, cyberpunk, character progression, and thoughtfully designed turn-based tactics.

What I liked most about the game was the variability and the worldbuilding. Speaking of the world—you can tell the author put real thought into how everything connects. There are the Pale in the Underline (the idea slightly reminded me of Cy_Borg with scum living in the flooded lower parts of the city and on the water), nomads, the high corporate world, and something in between in the form of the Grind, as well as various factions with reputation systems that genuinely affect, let's say, the player's life. In this context, I loved that hovering over underlined terms pops up a tooltip—it really helps you get your bearings early on. Chrome, rigs, fixers, corporations, augmentation clinics—everything we love about cyberpunk. Lots of skill checks: I love rolling dice in tabletop RPGs, so it's all good in my book. A huge advantage of the game is the vast array of possibilities and outcomes that can or cannot happen: it feels just like a TTRPG, props for that. I haven't fully tried out the combat yet. On the downside, what stands out the most is probably the use of AI in writing the text. There is a ton of text in the game, and it's often hard to read because of how artificial and generated it feels. But I understand that an indie developer likely couldn't avoid it, given the sheer volume of readable content. Overall, the game is recommended for fans of cyberpunk, text-based RPGs, and branching storylines.
