About
In Memoirium, everything is but sand and stars.
DREAM, DEFY, DECORATE

The realm of dreams throws all reason to the wayside. In one moment, you will find yourself in a simple 21st-century school, and in the next, your eyes will fall upon a castle held together by wax.

Equipment can alter abilities and the entities you can encounter. One armor set may influence how long negative statuses last, while a mask can change how enemies approach you in combat. All items serve a purpose.

Items replenish at certain points in your journey instead of disappearing when consumed, so put them to good use. Collect the same item multiple times to upgrade it, but be warned: even equipment found in the realm of dreams has its limits.

There also appears to be a mysterious location that you have control of in the dream world. Decorate this area of quiet reflection using mementos found throughout your journey across the realm of dreams.
A fully interconnected world with multiple paths

8 unique dungeons with their own mobs, mini-bosses, and bosses
14 game-changing armors, masks, and off-hand items
25 Keepsakes (consumable items that are replenishable and provide passives)
31 distinct weapons

Memoirium is a really cool game, and I had a great time playing through its world. It has an interesting take on Souls-like combat, particularly with its Stress system and deflect mechanic, which at times felt somewhat reminiscent of the blocking and Perfect Guard mechanics in "Lies of P", while still managing to have an identity of its own. This is also a difficult game, or at least it can be, in my opinion, and it becomes considerably harder if you don't take the time to properly read your equipment, understand your stats, and pay attention to the effects they have on your build. I've played through a lot of FromSoftware games and other Souls-likes over the years, and Memoirium is definitely up there when it comes to how severely it can punish you for poorly investing your stats or using equipment that doesn't complement your build. TLDR, If you're someone who doesn't like to read or take a moment to figure out the ropes, you're going to get F***ed up! The aesthetic is also retro as hell—in the best way. The entire game has this wonderfully strange, atmospheric look to it, and I especially loved the save doors and personable room. They're such a small part of the overall experience, but the way they're presented is incredibly distinctive and memorable. Little details like that give Memoirium a lot of personality. More than anything, though, I greatly enjoyed my time with Memoirium. It has that special quality where, even after finishing it, I found myself thinking back on the world, the combat, and the experience as a whole. I sincerely hope I get to see more of Memoirium in the future. Thank you to the developer for making this game and for the experience it gave me. I'm really glad I played it. (>o.o)> ₊.⋆🎭₊˚⁺ 🚪 🛋️ 🛌

positive critical· bar length = how often the theme comes up
memoirium goes hard on incorporating its setting/theme into the mechanics, so yr stats are unusual, yr gear slots are unusual, and the way those bits interact can be unusual. there's a lot of novelty here, even in mundane places! as far as Meat, the combat's got just-guards, just-dodges, and the good ol "hit guys to get MP" setup (with a big twist). it's very rewarding to spec hard into one or more of these, making even deflecting nobodies feel great it's also got a lot of neat twists i hope more games in the genre adopt: - gear has unique passive effects when equipped in alt slots, so finding new items stays exciting even when yr already committed to a certain build - scaling a damage stat also scales related weapons' STAMINA damage (for deflects/dodges). it sounds small, but it feels great to be able to lean hard into those defensive mechanics. don't know why it hasn't been done before - you can use yr alt weapon's 'combat art' without pulling it out, by holding the button. also, ALL attacks can be charged by holding the button - rather than FP/MP, abilities build up a universal status bar, and weapon attacks/just-dodges reduce that bar. once the bar's full, another ability use takes a %chunk of yr HP (which can be mitigated heavily by leveling a certain stat), and inflicts a status effect depending on the element of the ability you used. while the status ticks down, further ability uses take more HP, provided you don't cure it first. overall, the system creates a nice interplay between HP and "FP", where it can often be worth it to eat HP to cast more, depending on what consumables you have equipped. riding out that status bar isn't always bad either, since you can choose a less-bad status (provided you have the presence of mind during combat), and gear can even provide benefits to being under a certain status effect! granted, enemy hits can bump up that bar too, and change what status effect you end up getting, so it's a fun little mid-combat gamble yr always considering from moment to moment mechanics aside, the visuals are what originally grabbed me. they remind me of early era 3D art, with their interesting materials/texture work and funky use of geometry to create impressionist scenes. it's a very pretty game! i hope the dev keeps making cool art like this :>
I remember the first time I saw this game way back during PGDX 2025. It wasn't the most visually impressive but there was just something that had me mesmerized. Maybe it was enjoying congoers failing to git gud but that all changed when I saw the backstab animation. This game was going to be something special and it was. It's a retro souls-like and I mean that with all respect. While it may not be the easiest, the level design, world building and even the combat has so much personality oozing out of it. If you've played Dark Souls, you'd enjoy this title and if rolling to survive wasn't your thing, you could always take a break in your room. The room had me reflecting on my own life and for what it's worth, Memoirium makes you appreciate what you have. (The entire room section is optional too if you just wanna oonga boonga) 10/10 the post game where you get to cut loose is the best!
体量适中的类魂游戏,低多边形风格看多了还挺顺眼的
I dont believe this gem is not getting the attention it deserves. The music, the aesthetic, the combat, everything plays like a true ps1 era game, but with modern tweaks here and there. I cant recommend this enough, dont even buy it for the ps1 nostalgia, if youre a soulslike fan this is a great game too
梦核场景+复古美术+怪诞风格+类魂玩法 每一个都是所爱,怎能不玩
This game has immaculate vibes, and it has the sauce. I could not wait to play it again after first having playtested it a year ago. It's such a good aesthetic, and the combat feels fluid and engaging. It's a great addition to the soulslike genre!
el juego esta bueno pero el nivel final es una verga
