About
6th October 2025
MELTY BLOOD ARCHIVES has been updated to address the recently identified Unity vulnerability. Please note that MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA was not developed using Unity. Therefore, it is not affected by this vulnerability and does not require an update.
Based on Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon, this is new 2D fighting game, featuring new scenarios and characters.
In addition to the systems inherited from the MELTY BLOOD series, it has new systems such as Moon Skill, that unleashes powerful techniques with simple inputs. We have pursued a battle system that allows you to enjoy intense battles with simple controls, that can be enjoyed not only by experienced players, but also by beginners who will touch MELTY BLOOD for the first time.
MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA utilizes Rollback Netcode for stable online battles against other players.
Explore an all-new MELTY BLOOD world from scenario writer Kinoko Nasu.
Unique story events for each character give each playthrough its own feel, adding to the overall experience. The dialogue is fully voiced and changes depending on the combination of characters during battle, giving more insight into their relationship.
In addition, the visuals have been renewed for the HD environment. And each character's special move has beautiful animation produced by A-1 Pictures.
Customize your title, profile icon, and character outfits for battle. They can even be used in online matches!
Collect visuals, opening cinematics, music tracks, voices, pixel art, and more in the gallery. You’ll even be able to look at guest illustrations created by artists connected to TYPE-MOON titles.
In addition to tutorials where you can learn the basics of the game, we also have missions for each character for those who want to further master the game!

so im really bad at this game but i really like tsukihime. especially ciel. i think that to improve this game, ciel should be barefoot. i think if she was barefoot or maybe wearing stirrup socks then id be a little better at this game. but its really great. just maybe remove some unecessary outer layers from ciel's soles. idk. maybe make her barefoot.
What the ♥♥♥♥ is any of this? 9/10 fighting game.
10/10 curry-senpai!!
An excellent fighting game based on my favorite Type/Moon title. Unfortunately, however, I wish tsukihime got anything but a fighting game as I have a baseline IQ no higher than the double digits and have the reflexes and reaction speed of a demented snail rendering me completely incapable of pulling off any combos that isnt just button mashing
(speaking of Mash, skrew that faux-Ciel eggplant)
. worst of all, is the fact that Ciel(Best girl) got not 1 but 2 playable characters that requires the imput speed of a supercomputer and at least 3 PHD's in Quantum Physics, Oncology and Theology to play, making her basically unviable to main(PLEASE,PLEASE,PEASE LASANGA! GIVE US CIEL FANS ANYTHING I'D EVEN USE NEKO-CIEL IF THAT DAMN CAT WAS REMOTELY VIABLE) forcing us curry appreciators to use the only remotely usable thing that looks like our wife Ciel, M*sh , A.K.A. the Eggplant A.K.A. Shielder. A.K.A. the gacha merchant, truly an ill Fate.
PS:
put Tsukihime on steam PLEASE! im even fine with the remake at this point give me anyting Ciel related that isnt a single banner in FGO that drops right after the aniversary unit, PLEASE NASU I NEED THIS!
PPS:
Kill Shiki mains. Behead Shiki mains. Roundhouse kick a Shiki main into the concrete. Slam dunk a Bananya into the trashcan. Crucify filthy 22A spammers. Defecate in a Mistic eyes of Death perceptions glasses. Launch Shiki mains into the Type Moon. Stir fry Shiki mains in a Hisui's food. Toss Shiki mains into the millenium castle. Judo throw Shiki mains into blue magic balls. Twist Shiki mains heads off. Report Shiki mains to the Burial Agency. Karate chop Shiki mains in half. Trap Shiki mains in infinite combo's. thunderbolt Shiki mains into becoming the next ROA. Liquefy Shiki mains in a vat of Ciels curry. Eat Bananyas. Dissect chair cutters. Exterminate Shiki mains with Kohaku's chemicals. Lobotomize Nananya posters. Drown Shiki mains in even more curry. Vaporize Shiki mains with eye beams. Kick old Shiki mains down ELO ladders. Feed Shiki mains to the NECO's. Slice Shiki mains with their own knife.
好玩爱玩,谁不想累了以后急头白脸的打上一把mbtl😤👍
I wanna ♥♥♥♥ aoko and akiha
Thus far, it has been super easy to get into, even without any fighting game experience. Finding online matches has been surprisingly quick, with only a few minutes' wait between matches (OCE). And that's without joining the Discord. Only have two issues, first -using a keyboard- is that the UI is written in terms of controller buttons (A,B,X,Y, etc) and nowhere does it show the conversion between, which is A=J, B=O, X=U, Y=I, menu/start = T by the way. I spend a good few minutes just trying to work out how to get past the opening scene, pressing each button on my keyboard one by one. The actual gameplay works perfectly with a keyboard Second is that progress doesn't seem to save across different devices. It says my laptop and PC both synced with Steam Cloud, but when I logged in on my laptop, it was a fresh account. Minor inconveniences As for solo content, the story mode doesn't seem to have much of a story, but rather shows some of the relationship dynamics between characters across 10 battles. Decent practice as it exposes you to some of the cast, so you can get familiar with their abilities and play styles. All in all, it's been a fun intro into fighting games.
yes
