About
The Year is 2082. You take the role of Bill, a grizzled former trucker turned robojockey. In a world where resources are scarce, Bill owns a mining claim for Fluxiam-7, which is used to provide many of the energy needs for the late 21st century. TorxCorp, who owns a nearby Quarry has it's eye on Bill's claim, and has decided to steal Bill's treasured figurines he keeps on the dash of his mekk, and also kidnapped his girlfriend Beth. With the help of Bill's friend Rusty, it's up to you to take the reigns of Bill's mekk and get those figurines back! Also Beth too if it isn't too much of a hassle.

Relive the glory days of the good old days with this first-person mech take on the classic Boomer Shooter gameplay. The in-cockpit view gives the retro 16-bit FPS feel a whole new twist.
Moving around in your sluggish Mekk feels surprisingly smooth, Bill has truly mastered the giant robot’s controls like no other. And his weapons pack a punch! Make Swiss cheese of the enemies with bullets from afar or get up-close and personal with your dual saws.
Bill is a grizzled, and extremely hairy middle-aged man who doesn’t take shit from anyone. Torxcorp is going to get a 2-ton foot, straight up their ass for trying to take what is his.
Discover a secret area in each level to get back your limited edition dash figurines, or even more cockpit trash! Spruce up your cockpit and watch them shake & sway along with the action.

Seems cool, menu UI is a little barebones, along with the save system. Gameplay is cool tho, there's an alternate version of each gun in the game, obviously the crazy HUD is the main draw and it is cool and so is adding stuff to it. Some of the mini boss mechs provide a good challenge. Good one liner jokes to kick off each mission like Duke Nukem. The level design and story beats of the game stick to the "quarry assault" thematics closely. Music is pretty solid except for one level where one of the tracks kinda looped weird.
You Mecha once you mecha twice and then you die
I just picked up the game and I can already tell i'm going to enjoy playing it. The art style is cool and clean. The music is great. Looking forward to getting further into this game!
Sehr schrottig gemacht.
Mekkablood ain't perfect - it can be visually repetitive and the interface is a bit wonky - but it is fast-paced, action-packed, and full of attitude. Each new level is more fun than the last. A Boomer shooter with a cool mech cockpit HUD and nice retro graphics. Was a bit disappointed at first. The game just felt unpolished. But the more I kept playing the more fun I had. It´s not great. But if you can look past all it´s flaws and like retro style Boomer shooters, then this might be fun for you.
I saw this on reddit and thought the visual concept was really cool! I will say the "mech" aspect feels kind of pointless with how fast you can turn. Mechs should be really slow in my opinion. I still enjoy the game but it might off put some people looking for something more beefy than fast paced.
