Excellent turn based fighting game. Fun art style, and really captures the fighting game feel
I don't think I've ever seen a game do anything like this before. And the best part is that it actually teaches you the rules of fighting games! As an enjoyer of many fighting games myself I really appreciate that something like this exists, and I hope more people will give it a try.
Думал бросить из-за того, что сложно, а оказался удивительно крутой и необычный экспириенс - пошаговый файтинг это вам не шутки https://youtu.be/zXxMLcwIm1o
an interesting take on the fighting genre. but buyer beware it is VERY Barebones right now. excited to see where it goes in the future
"chess meets street fighter?" - LOL, good idea but kinda weird gameplay, not for everyone... if you wat something new in fighting genre then buy it, see it,play it: Its a clever twist on classic fighting games — Mega Knockdown turns fast-paced brawls into strategic, turn-based mind games. You and your opponent choose moves simultaneously, making every action a battle of prediction and planning rather than reflexes. With six unique fighters, local and online modes, and a quirky mix of humor and tactics, this Early Access title feels like Street Fighter meets chess. Still early and rough around the edges, but already one of the most original fighting game ideas in years.
"Turn based fighting game?" Mega Knockdown has one of the more unique combat systems I’ve seen in a fighting game. Even though time only advances when the player completes an action, I still found myself spamming. It’s an unusual concept that ends up being a lot more fun than it initially sounds backed by a memorable art direction. Gameplay

Gave this game a chance, not my type but I did not have previous experience with turn based fighting games, it opened my eyes to a new genre and that is why I am recommending it, not sure if the price is worth it or not, may recommend to get it on sale tho! Try the demo for sure!!
Singleplayer is fun. Multiplayer is dead.
It's a good game, you have have time to think
