About

Operating directly under the National Command Authority, a relatively unknown entity of handpicked warriors are selected when it is crucial that a mission must not fail. They are the Tier 1 Operators. There are over 2 million active soldiers. Of those, approximately 50 thousand fall under the direct control of the Special Operations Command. The Tier 1 Operator functions on a level above and beyond even the most highly trained Special Operations Forces. Their exact numbers, while classified, hover in the low hundreds. They are living, breathing, precision instruments of war. They are experts in the application of violence. The new Medal of Honor™ is inspired by and developed with actual Tier 1 Operators from this elite community. Players step into the boots of these warriors and apply their unique skill sets to fight a new enemy in the most unforgiving and hostile conditions of present day Afghanistan.
This is a new war. There is a new warrior. He is Tier 1.
Fight Today's War: Elite Special Forces in a gritty combat campaign using the surgical tactics of Tier 1 Operators combined with the sledgehammer force of Army Rangers.
Unparalleled Authenticity: Intense story with incredible pacing and variety set in the rugged Afghanistan landscape, creating a shooter experience only available from the storied Medal of Honor franchise.

"Well that was pretty f-ing Ninja". I know this game never got that much love. But I played it more than 16 years ago in college, and it was one of my absolute favourites then, and playing it after all these years, I can see why - all over again.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I'd highly recommend this game to people who enjoy slightly more grounded military FPS campaigns, similar to Call of Duty 4 or Battlefield 3. Medal of Honor 2010 arguably could be called a CoD 4 clone, but I think it has a few things going for it. Gameplay is mostly bog standard, point gun, aim down sights, shoot enemy, follow NPC to next objective marker. Some things do make this an improvement. Squad mates can now resupply you with M4 ammo, so you don't run out halfway through like some Modern Warfare 2 & 3 missions. Gunplay has good feedback and sound design, but first-person animations are quite janky for a 2010 game. The story remains relatively basic, but also feels very grounded, to the point that I could realistically believe this was an actual special forces incident during the GWOT conflicts in the middle east. Graphics wise, this game runs on the Frostbite engine, so it looks pretty good. Environments are expansive and beautiful, often featuring wide expanses of desert and mountain terrain. I'd highly recommend this game for those wanting to experience another short modern military FPS campaign. I got it for $3.99 on sale, and have definitely gotten more than my money's worth out of it.
This Medal honor and the sequel Medal of honor Warfighter are the best military shooters campaign I've ever played 10 out of 10
