Maze Walker

Hello. My name is Daniel Rychlý and I am 17 years old. I made this game completely alone. I am just starting programming, but i want to learn more and this game is my first project in category computer games. I have done a lot of work with this game and you have quickly refused my dreams as if you were right. I know I can not measure giants like Rockstar games just because I'm alone and I do not have a lot of experience. But I want to try it and i will work on myself.

Maze Walker is like a fever dream that I'm not sure exists. Except it does because I recognize all the assets. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVwoL-HO3Uc There is barely any gameplay to speak of in this title. You walk around in a maze of hallways with Unity assets that don't have matching art styles, or even fit together properly without causing artifacting on the walls. You have a variety of options to turn on when playing the game. Most of these are just adding in asset monsters that will try to chase you. Well, that depends actually. Sometimes the monsters will chase you, other times they will ignore you and simply faze through walls going about their merry day. If an enemy touches your character you are teleported back to the start. There are no indicators about where to go. I understand the concept of a maze, but when everything looks the same and you see from a first-person perspective it just gets irritating. There are portals that you can use, but these seem to just teleport you to random places. One of them even teleported me a mere 20-feet backwards in the direction I just came from. The game looks like garbage. Like I said before the entire thing is cobbled together using Unity assets without an original piece by the developer. This makes a game look, feel and play extremely cheap. It's obvious the developer does not know how to create a proper game. If you want a better maze game, grab some crayons go look at the back of the kids menu at your nearest restaurant. I was not very successful in beating this game, but it is something that I will do without a doubt one day. This game certainly was entertaining, and for the price why would you not get it? Maze walker is a recent marvel of excellence crafted in the most amazing way! I have never seen such creativity and excellent design with it's 3 variety of textures, ther floor, walls and skybox. The use of random portals that take you to different places is abosloute genius! I would personally love to interivew the creator to discover what ispirations he had and the difficulties he faced crafting this masterpiece. I urge anyone who is reading this to ignore any of the other reviews and dive right into this game, it's a true bargain at only for £1.69 too. It doesn't take long to download, only 220 MB!! In conclusion, I just wanted to say how pleased I am with my purchase, body is fidgiting with excitement while writing this because I just don't want to wait another second to get back into the maze again. P.S The only reason I only have .2 hours is because I loved the game so much I bough it on multiple accounts but decided to my review on this account.

I think this maze is great, because i have not seen bigger maze. I was tired of simple mazes and this maze is right choice for me. And i think it is not importrant where are models from.

This game is very interesting and fun . would recommend adding a setting for the game controls , but otherwise this game is very fun . Really big maze and I love it .

Game keeps closing.

A játék rendkívül nehéz, amit sajnos nem a labirintusban található lények okoznak, hanem maga a labirintus. Ezzel ugye nem is lenne gond, csak sajna nincs a játékban semmi, ami érdekessé tenné az egész labirintus túlélést, tehát csak mész a mindenhol ugyanolyan díszletű folyosókon és fogalmad sincs, hogy jó irányba mész-e. és sajnos semmi nem ösztönöz, hogy tovább menj. Semmi érdekesség nincs a játékban, ami talán a legrosszabbá teszi, hogy mindent ami a labirintusban, úgymond "extraként" van jelen, mint a videókban látható lények, meg portálok, azokat te magad állíthatod be az elején, hogy akarsz e egyáltalán ilyeneket. Számomra ez volt a legnagyobb negatívum, mert ezáltal tudtam, hogy más nem is lesz a játékban. Ráadásul ezek a lények nem érdekessé, inkább csak idegesítővé teszik a játékot, nem félelmetesek, nagyon alap animációjuk van, egyedül a hangok amik a helyén vannak a játékban, arra azt mondom, hogy hangulatosak is. Tömör értékelés Pozitívum -> jó alapötlet, én szeretem a labirintus játékokat, sok érdekes ötletet tesznek lehetővé hogy érdekesek legyenek. -> jók a hangok, tényleg a frász kiveri az embert, amikor egy ilyen lény a közeledbe ér -> labirntus függő és imádó játékosoknak kötelező fél eurós áron, teljes 2 eurós áron mindenki felejtse el. Negatívum -> unalamas, monoton játékmenet -> a játékban semmi történet nincs, miért vagy itt, mit kell csinálni, mik ezek a lények, nulla bevezetés, egyszer csak ott vagy a pályan oszt kész, menj végig a labirintuson. -> érdektelen, idegesítő, akadályozó lények, amiket úgy sem fog senki sem beállítani hosszútávon. -> szegényes díszlet, konkrétan minden ugyanúgy néz ki, csak némelyik folyosó szélesebb, mint a többi, de hadd ne mondjam már ezt érdekesnek, meg válatozatosnak. -> minden extra lényt be lehet állítani, ami nálam hangulatromboló volt, szerintem egy ilyen típusú játék úgy izgalmas, ha nem tudod mi vár rád -> nem éri meg a 2 eurót, csak leárazottan fél euróért esetleg. Szóval ez a játék összességében rossz, de fél eurós áron, aki szereti a labirintus játékokat, el lesz vele egy darabig, de tényleg csak azoknak tudom ajánlani, afféle mániákus labirintus falóknak és jónak értékelem, mert szeretem az ilyesfajta játékokat, de más nem szól mellette, hogy ilyen játékot megvegyek máskor.
