About
A routine flight turns into a fight for survival when critical systems begin to fail mid-air. Flashing warnings, cryptic puzzles, and an unforgiving countdown leave you with only one way out: communication.
Mayday Protocol is an asymmetric co-op puzzle game where communication is everything.
One player takes the role of the Pilot, facing a cockpit full of puzzles with no idea how to solve them. The other players become Co-Pilots, holding a manual that contains all the answers but they can’t see the cockpit.
The Pilot describes what they see. The Co-Pilots make sense of it.
Solve the puzzles before time runs out and the plane survives. Fail… and the outcome is inevitable.
Only the Pilot needs to own the game; Co-Pilots can join using the free manual.

The Pilot sits in a cockpit filled with real flight instruments: gauges, warning lights, and screens displaying puzzles that must be solved. These screens are packed with locked systems, input-hungry controls, and visual clues that demand careful interpretation. Each one corresponds to a solution found in the Co-Pilots’ manual.
The Co-Pilots read the rules and solutions, but must guide the Pilot without ever seeing what’s on screen.
Your only tool is your voice. Describe, interpret, instruct, and execute. Under pressure, against the clock.

Every level presents a sequence of puzzles that must be solved before time runs out.
Make too many mistakes? The plane crashes.
Run out of time? The plane crashes.
Stop communicating? You already know what happens.
Real flight instruments, constant tension, and the looming threat of disaster make every second count. From color sequences and frequency tuning to grids and shape-based systems, each level demands flawless teamwork. Time is your enemy. Stay calm, stay focused, and don’t lose the signal.

You need a co-pilot with an IQ of 80 or higher. If anyone is interested in playing, you can add me :D
Mayday Protocol is an absolute blast to play and a worthy spiritual successor to party puzzle games like Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. It relies heavily on teamwork and efficient communication under stress. Provided you have a friend to play it with, it is absolutely worth the money. The aesthetic is far superior to the majority of games in this genre. Instead of just spinning a suitcase bomb at a desk, you’re in a crashing plane. The pilot must monitor gauges, gadgets, and miscellaneous components in the cockpit, which does an excellent job of selling the imminent threat. The puzzles, comprised of different modules in the cockpit, are on the easier side once you and your co-pilot (the person with the PDF) get the hang of them. The difficulty in later levels stems from tight time constraints and the sheer number of modules. The game offers 10 puzzle modules, each feeling distinct and fresh. The co-pilot manual is accessed via the game's website, meaning only one person needs to own the game. The manual is colorful, well-designed, and easy to follow, especially the Shape Collision Matrix page, which is animated and reacts to the mouse to help you identify the correct answer quickly. The Bad: Length: The game is currently quite short, consisting of 7 chapters with 4–5 levels each. However, since this is a new release and the developers plan to add more content, this may become a non-issue later. Realism: The gauges sometimes provide unrealistic readings, like 6 knots for airspeed. Texture Quality: Even on max settings, some text (mostly cosmetic) is blurry, which can break the immersion. Minor Bugs: There are some minor errors in switch labeling, though the developers have noted these will be patched soon. Overall: This is a game well worth playing, especially as more content rolls out. Thanks for reading! :3
My friends and I waited for the release after playing the demo. This game is very well made, I can absolutely recommend it. Basically it's like "Keep talking and nobody explodes" but with modernized graphics. I have some suggestions but keep in mind, that I am complainign on a very high level here and I'd still give the game a 9.5/10 rating without them! Room for Improvement: 1) The (english) manual has some points where it's not overly clear in the instructions and could be voiced a little better to make it easier on the first few plays. I don't know if english is the primary language of the developer though, so maybe it's different in other languages - I can't say. To give an example: The module with the colorful buttons around it often says "first remaining color". On the top and right side it's relatively simple to deduce that this means first to the left or bottom. However this could be counted clockwise or always left-to-right, so on the bottom it could mean either direction. You need to try and experiment. With the allowed errors that's completely possible, though. 2) The accessibility could be a little better, especially where there are very similar colors like pink and purple. Putting little letters on the buttons like in the manual where P stands for "P"urple and i for p"i"nk would allow for better playability for pilots with color/vision impairments. 3) The first few times we played there were zero flare rounds, so we didn't know what they are supposed to look like. Maybe the intro tutorial could point out which item is which for people who have never seen stuff like that in real life?
ai slop
Play with your girlfriend, and good luck you need it! Definitely recommend.
Do not get me too wrong, the game is fun. It is a fresh take on Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. The puzzles are creative and have a nice touch of some aviation terminology. My biggest gripes with the game are the poor textures, the slightly too-easy-to-remember solutions, but most of all the AI. The crash scene images used in the game are for sure AI generated, and maybe some aspects of the in-game elements and interfaces as well. Still give the game a shot, it is fun
Awesome game! Worth the price for sure! I enjoy it a lot with my partner
This game at first requested a refund because it didn't tell it was solo only. But after me and my friend understood that it's multiplayer only via webpage, it made it a lot better. (You should mention it in the description). Overall, intense and overwhelming game, would suggest!
