And that wasn't just any dwarf, no, it was Loki (the Norse god of lies) himself. The reason was quite simple - a precious ring. Arnar had found it and refused to sell it. Many years later, the curse hit him. And here the adventure begins: (Developer) An outstandingly made, technically very good collecting game. For beginners and old hands. The level of difficulty increases rapidly as the levels progress. Here too, build buildings, remove obstacles, clear the paths. The cards are really well made and well thought out. The story is well told too. I didn't notice any errors. You have to be careful, especially at the beginning of each map, where you get the necessary materials, you shouldn't lose sight of them. Otherwise you will quickly run out of raw materials. Very well done, I had a lot of fun with the cards. I definitely recommend it. Die Geschichte beginnt im Reich des alten Wikingerkönigs Arnar. Der wurde von einem bösartigen Zwerg mit einem Fluch belegt. Und das war nicht irgendein Zwerg, nein, es war Loki (der nordische Gott der Lüge) höchstselbst. Der Grund war ganz einfach – ein kostbarer Ring. Arnar hatte ihn gefunden und weigerte sich, ihn zu verkaufen. Viele Jahre später traf ihn dann der Fluch. Und hier beginnt das Abenteuer: (Entwickler) Ein herausragend gemachtes, handwerklich sehr gutes Sammelspiel. Für Einsteiger und alte Hasen. Der Schwierigkeitsgrad steigt schnell an, im laufe der Level. Auch hier gild, baue Gebäude, entferne Hindernisse, beräume die Wege. Die Karten sind wirklich gut gemacht und gut durchdacht. Die Geschichte ist ebenfalls gut erzählt. Mir ist keinerlei Fehler aufgefallen. Aufpassen musst du vorallem zu Beginn ein jeder Karte, wo du die nötigen Materialien herbekommst, diese solltest du auch nicht aus den Augen verlieren. Sonnst gehen dir schnell mal die Rohstoffe aus. Sehr gut gemacht, ich hatte viel Spass an den Karten. Ich kann es eindeutig empfehlen. [h1]Short version: 77%[/h1] As far as casual time managers go, Viking Saga 1 is among the better ones, thanks to some of its interesting ideas. It is also great as an introductory title for the genre. [h1]Long version:[/h1] Viking Saga: The Cursed Ring is the way you imagine a good introduction for time managers. It has a simple but interesting story, a healthy amount of pleasant stages, and enjoyable game mechanics that promote quick thinking but never push the player beyond causal territory. The story presents a simple enough reason to play the levels: we are the younger son of a Viking leader, and we had to travel to a strange new land that suffers from the same curse we must remove from the titular family heirloom. Therefore, our would-be hero travels the land and helps everyone rebuild their homes and roads to earn their support for the final confrontation. As usual for this genre, we order around 1-5 workers to do these tasks, and their job mostly entails gathering resources to repair roads and bridges, or to build production buildings. Viking Saga also injects lightweight tycoon elements into this mix: we must build lodgings to collect rent, since we have to pay money to use the production buildings. This small twist, paired with the generally good levels and fluid gameplay flow, is enough to recommend it to any veteran, even if the overall tone and difficulty aims more towards newcomers.

As many other users having a x64 version of Windows, this game doesn't work on my computer and despite the amount of people requesting support, there is no answer from the developer. Don't buy that game, you're losing your time, apparently the more recent games have proper support on contrary of this one which is just a way to rip off customers.

Wonderful game to fill those few mintues or an evening. You get caught up in the excitement and don't want to quite.

Klassisches Time-/Ressourcenmanagement Schöne abwechslungsreiche Level. 3 Schwierigkeitsstufen. Leicht ist ohne Zeitvorgabe. Schließt man alles in einem Gebiet mit 3 Sternen ab, schaltet man damit noch ein Bonuslevel frei. Steam- oder Ingameachievements gibt es leider nicht.

Viking Sage est un petit jeu de gestion du temps. Il est beau, agréable a jouer, et il dégage une ambiance bienveillante et paisible. Des petits jeux comme ça il y en a plein, mais cela lui est différent, et je l'aime vraiment beaucoup. Je le recommande donc tout naturellement.

This game jams all of the time.. I have not actually been able to play it for ages as it is constantly 'running', but I cannot access it.

Good little game when you have few spare minutes. a bit more complex than it looks to get 3 stars on all stages.

Super Spiel. Nur in Lvl 14 soll man 100 Silber sammeln - gemeint ist aber Holz. Alles in Allem aber ein sehr gutes Spiel dieses Genres. Abwechslungsreich.
