Mauled Horde is a free-to-play PvE horde shooter for solo players and co-op squads of up to 3. Fight your way through a variety of maps filled with relentless hordes of ferocious creatures. Earn resources and spend them at Citadels to purchase and upgrade weapons, unlock active and passive skills, activate traps, and adapt your build as the difficulty rises round after round.

Game Features

• Survive endless waves of monsters emerging from dimensional portals.

• Single Player & Multiplayer Co-op: Play solo or team up with friends for a fast-paced cooperative experience.

• Level & XP system: Earn experience points by defeating enemies, level up your character, unlock new character skins, and push yourself to achieve new personal wave records.

• Citadels: Spend resources to purchase weapons, active and passive abilities, and gear upgrades to shape your build during each match.

• Tactical Gadgets & Tech: Equip advanced support gear to change the tide of battle. Purchase follow-drones for automated cover fire, deploy protective shields to block incoming damage, use phase-shift devices to pass through enemies unharmed, or set up automated turrets to defend key positions.

• Expanded arsenal: Discover a wide range of weapons, from classic assault rifles to high-tech explosive laser cannons and specialized launchers that fire acid pools to dissolve enemy groups. Find and upgrade your gear across tiers ranging from common to legendary.

• Enemy Variety: Fight a wide range of zombie threats, from basic undead enemies to armored zombies, explosive runners that chase you down, poisonous zombies, enemies that launch corrosive spheres, and shield-generating zombies that protect nearby hordes.

• Leaderboards: Compete with other players through dedicated leaderboards that track the highest waves survived, the most zombies killed, and the highest levels reached.

• Environmental traps: Use map-based hazards to wipe out entire hordes.

• Intense boss battles: Face periodic boss encounters accompanied by new, immersive soundtracks.

• First & Third-Person View: Switch freely between first-person and third-person perspectives during gameplay.

• AI-Assisted Lobbies: When no player lobbies are available, start a public match instantly with an AI teammate. Other players can join at any time, and the AI automatically leaves when a third human player joins.

• Fast-Paced Combat: Keep moving, dodge-roll incoming attacks, reposition under pressure, and fight your way through increasingly aggressive hordes.

• Optional in-game purchases are limited to cosmetic character skins and do not provide any gameplay advantage.

Story

In a world on the brink of collapse, dimensional portals have torn open the fabric of reality, unleashing endless waves of monstrous entities. You are one of the last defenders, fighting to contain the invasion and uncover the origin of the portals. Each wave brings stronger enemies and greater threats, pushing humanity closer to extinction. How long can you survive, and how many waves can you hold back before the darkness consumes everything?
