Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 23 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Gory Horror B Movie Style Narrative
Massacre at the Mirage is really nothing more than a walking simulator through the eyes of its characters. Only one jump scare got me, the rest of the game never again. It's really not that scary, but I did enjoy playing it for the story and some of the cut scenes were well done. There's a couple mini games but they are not that great. Doing the snack bar mini game during the story was kind of slow but I can see why it was added as filler since the game is on the short side. There's also a Simulation mode that's more of the snack bar mini game where you serve people, earn money and buy stuff. It's not that great but achievement hunters might enjoy it. The game's world is on key and pretty well designed, along with good sound production on the effects and music. The voice acting, however, is mediocre to just ok. Overall I did enjoy playing it, but this is lightly recommended to a possible maybe. Get it on sale. 12.50 For this is a joke, idk what people are smoking and saying this is a 10/10 game , nothing scary happens , no jumpscares , you basically sell theater tickets and then play 2 seconds of all the people to see how they die , its like if you wanted to make a game about the movie terifier but ended up making something random that is not scary at all, NOT WORTH THE MONEY unless you buy it for 1 euro i guess but still just buy urself a bottle of water irl ,it would be more enjoyable.
Enjoyed the game until I found out there is Gen AI art in it. Disappointed because I did like the game for its slasher movie vibe.
its really boring. painfully slow with really predictable horror. last part you push the right button and it just doesn't register. don't know how it is so highly rated to be honest. i want to like it but its just eh.
refunded, very poorly programmed, stingy with checkpoints while stuff often fails to trigger and locks you out.
This was a pleasant surprise, for the price . I loved the atmosphere and the design of the killer. Some moments were genuinely creepy. Voice acting was a mixed bag but often is with horror games. I wish we had more character backstory or got to know them a bit better. I feel horror works best when you care about the outcome for the characters. I would love more games like this, but with more of a sense of agency. In this game it was more like a story you watch play out rather than feeling like you can really impact what is happening. I think the devs were on to something with this one. The concept had so much potential for future games!
the middest game in the Tainted Pact bundle. basically a walking sim horror game but its really boring with a lot of repetiitive sequences like the food stand sequence. overall skip unless u buy it as part of the bundle then give it a go but dont buy full price its not worth it at all
Nobody pours coffee like that. Game froze a couple of times. Too dark to see some of the doors. A few scares and a lot of long waits inbetween
Highly mediocre game with a mid tier story and essentially zero real scares and very serious performance issues on Linux. Add that to the fact that none of the movie clips play on proton (At least not on GE-Proton) and the flagrant use of AI generated imaged makes this a particularly low tier slop game, which is okay if you get it on sale. Until the end scene, I would have recommended the game. Unfortunately, the ending sucked and was highly unsatisfying. 4/10
