Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.

Ainda não odiamos a Sony o suficiente. Existe um jogo excelente no meio desse amontoado de lixo que a sony decidiu colocar no teu computador ou nem isso se você for usuario de Linux

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 6: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Man its been over a week since the game came out and still can't even get past the initial menu. The game just crashes seconds after the first menu. This actually a crazy bad release. I hope they fix it but man they did a lot of damage to the community by having this bad of a release. With the amount of problems happening in the community I'm worried they won't even get all the bugs. Wish there was more communication on updates. The first update did much more bad than good. On release I was able to play but my game was locked at 58 fps regardless of settings and resolution. The update fixed it and I could hit 60fps! I was happy while spectate still wasn't working right with desyncs. After like 2 days my game started crashing and now crashes every time on launch. Went to CEO with no practice, thank god I paid for a spectator pass and didn't actually compete.
Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls is a gorgeous game, I've been playing since the most recent beta and the team's ability to adjust the game to feel more snappy (whilst it could still use more work) is wonderful to see. It has a lovely cast of characters that are all unique, full of emotion & ooze of charm. All of these things come together to make a fighting game I've been genuinely surprised to enjoy sinking my teeth into so much. During the game's intial showings at events & the first beta, I was highly disappointed by the look of this game's systems and how it looked like another instance of Arcsys failing to do what Capcom did with Street Fighter 6 and make an ACTUALLY "accessible" fighting game. To some extent? I feel that is still true. However? This game has come around incredibly well to prove me wrong in my thoughts that it wouldn't be fun to dig into and see the sauce it really has to offer. Starlord is my guy and I cannot wait to see what they'll do with Phoenix Cyclops when he releases. Unfortunately? This game's release is absolutely a nightmare. Lets get into it. The game REQUIRES a PSN account. This notably means that in certain regions? It is unplayable. Not only that, the game has anti-tamper that seems to run at the ENGINE level. Currently as I'm making this review? The game is not playable on linux, meaning there is not Steamdeck support unless you were to install Windows onto your device so that the anti-cheat/anti-tamper can function & allow you to play. This seemingly, can be changed from what research I've done. Ideally, it's something the devs could do retroactively to add support for linux/steamdeck. However, due to Sony's recent track record? I don't have much faith. It doesn't bode well. This game simply also DOESN'T run well on a lot of people's hardware. The game seems to run up to at least/around 7 instances of some Sony SDK in the background for some god awful reason. They've seem to have alleviated SOME of these issues before release but not all of them. Stuff like this NEEDS to be addressed. Frankly? I'd like to see easy-anticheat and the anti-tamper removed alltogether. I think there are much better means to avoid leaks or whatever it is they're concerned about. As these things only serve to be a detriment not only to these game's intitial release but it's legacy and longevity as well. When we embed these things into games it can make it so we're unable to access them later on, furthering this issue with Sony where the media we purchase isn't REALLY something we own. Not unless they say so. Even outside of Sony's tampering, a 60$ (80$ CAD) asking price for a game with very little singleplayer content to offer and (at the time of this review) a very questionable online experience, I cannot recommend this game to anyone. I'm playing it because I'm a hardcore fighting game fan and the future of this genre is something that I'm incredibly invested in. But unless you're a hardcore fan of not only the fighting game genre, but the further niche tag-fighter genre? Wait for a sale & make your voice heard so they hopefully remove all the worthless additional B.S in this game's PC release. This game and the fighting game community deserve SO much better than this absolute mess of a release.
Awful matchmaking. The worst input reader in modern fighting game history.
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is great. Just wanted to start with that. The gameplay, the modes, the replayability, the character designs, everything is so unfathomably peak. Arc System Works did an insane job with Tokon and its basically my dream game. But alas, the game has a big problem involving greedy corporations. Sony. The game isn't optimized for Linux at all and is barely playable. Good luck playing it on anything that isn't a beefy PC with windows. Playstation forces you to connect with a PSN account, which restricts certain regions from playing the game (unsure if they fixed all of that or not) The beta as far as I am aware was insanely encrypted, the game runs really slow as a result. I play on a 3080 and the gameplay is incredibly smooth, but then again its a 3080. Unsure if they did anything about that. Otherwise, hate the big company, not the game. I am giving this a dislike as I discourage this abhorrent behavior from Sony and am expecting them to wake up and stop trying to control everyones stuff. It should be like any other Steam game. If you're a big Marvel fan but not a fighting game fan, this game is incredibly kind to newer fighting game players. The skill floor is really low and there is custom controls catering to new players (quick ability button) Amazing game hindered by an awful company, I will adjust my review after they remove all this junk they stuffed in this wonderful game.
Fix your pc port! Its definitely better now than it was before, but trying to block anyone with 4+ rollback frames is impossible. PC players should be forced to lower their settings like tekken does mid match if theres rollback over 2 frames, or there should be a way for someone to leave the match without alt f4 due to bad netcode.
DO NOT BUY THIS GAME FOR NOW
The supposedly successor to the MARVEL fighting games BUT Ruined by their faulty UNPLAYABLE MATCHMAKING. I was extremely excited for this game after playing the earlier beta demo. The matchmaking worked much better during the beta, which gave me the confidence to pre-purchase the full game. I bought it specifically because I wanted to fight and compete with players from around the world. Unfortunately, as soon as the full game was released, the matchmaking became a complete disappointment. To find out in the discussion that it wasn't just me who's experiencing it and their MATCHMAKING DOES NOT WORK at all. It is frustrating that a feature that seemed functional during the beta is now unreliable in the version people actually paid for. Until the developers fix it, MARVEL Tōkon feels more like a single-player fighting game than the worldwide multiplayer fighting experience that was advertised. I really wanted to love this game but the broken matchmaking has completely ruined the excitement I had for it. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME UNTIL THEIR MATCHMAKING HAS BEEN FIXED. I DO HOPE THEY FIX THIS ASAP
everyone involved in making this game should do it. Including stan lee, rot in hell
