Excellent 3D platformer. Controls are very tight and the added movement tools that you get keep things fresh. The difficulty level feels tough but fair and does a good job of ramping up over the course of the game. The end is a satisfying capstone. Would definitely recommend if you enjoy 3D platformers and are up for a challenge.
Been really enjoying the movement and challenges in this platformer so far! It's an easy buy if you're into 3D platformers with tight movement.
As someone who played the creator's previous game Super Antonio and had a lot of fun with it, I've been looking forward to seeing how Mana Fracture might improve upon previous ideas and have its own identity. Immediately, I am pleased to see more flare in the game's visuals and the soundtrack has taken it up a notch. More importantly, the game's movement feels better than ever and I was already a big fan of the movement in Super Antonio. I am excited to master the new mechanics and I'm sure I will be 100%ing it like the previous title.

The more I play the more i like. It's a precision 3d platformer with no real 'carrot' like coins, collectibles, etc. aside from going higher and higher. In a way that's the beauty of it, because you play because you're having fun, and you don't play because, well, you fell of a dang mountain and you might be too annoyed to climb it again. The platforming has its own feel and weight that's unique among other games I've played. Once you lock in with it you can kinda shmoove a bit. My biggest complaint was that wallrunning and walljumping are pretty finicky. They don't always perform consistently and I seemed to fall off walls a lot. I dreaded every time I climbed for a few minutes and then there was a yeet into a few wallruns and jumps to get to a new checkpoint. Thankfully the dev instituted some 'safety' platforms that aren't really checkpoints you can warp to, but instead are like soft checkpoints in case you fall while doing some of the more treacherous jumps. They aren't always there, though, so you might just be frustrated for a while until you figure it out. Eventually a dedicated wallrun button is introduced and it seems to work really well, but until then, it'll probably be your main source of anger. At first I thought the music was AI gen because it's quite intricate compared to the simple graphics and straightforward gameplay, but the dev kindly confirmed that a human made it (another dev, actually). A few of the tunes can get stuck in your head (like the song in the trailer) and it's always a treat to have a new song in the next area. You don't have to be masochistic to enjoy this, but understand it's not a collectathon platformer and more of a challenge. Lots of trial and error, but it feels really good to make it to the next checkpoint.
If you enjoy: -The heavy momentum based movement of Mario 64 -Getting Over It-likes that understand what is and isn't good design for the subgenre You absolutely should pick this up and play it. I beat it in one evening and honestly had a blast, it's super satisfying movement and very approachable and engaging level design. With just enough sauce to get you frustrated, but only just enough so much that beating it feels all the more satisfying. A perfect little snack of a game. And hey, if you're a fan of niche speedruns, this has that written all over it. So many opportunities for timesaves and cool tricks.
Its very charming. The game looks simple but has some complexity behind it, and I can see how speed running this came could become very fun. Recommend if you are looking for a simple but fun 3d platformer
I really enjoy it but it's also not Baby's First Platformer for sure. The music is great, the controls feel nice, and the game introduces some fun mechanics especially as it progresses. Sometimes you fall and you start drafting the dev a foul message but it also feels good to persevere. Easy recommend for 3D platformer fans.
the movement felt stiff, like wherever you jumped you were stuck on that path with limited air control, but that's immediately fixed once you get your upgrades, which happens early on. other than that, it's a fun platformer, and I'd recommend it to others
Jogo muito bacana, mas um botão de voltar para o checkpoint realmente faz falta
Great game. Tight controls, smooth animations, and fun to play. It runs beautifully on CachyOS as well as the Steam Deck. Since I've started playing people tell me I'm more attractive and I no longer cower in fear of the day star. 10/10 must buy.
