Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 5 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Find the images and spot the thief while collecting personal travel plans from all the gorgeous pictures!
The devs are adorable. I'm honored to be thanked in-game by one of my favourite hidden cat game devs. Thank you for creating all those little gems to play!!! Pictective is a charming little HOG that cleverly takes Captcha-style image puzzles into a relax, travel-flavored experience. You jump into real-world photos across many categories, from theme parks and shops to entire towns, scanning images to spot specific elements. It immediately brings back the feel of those old “I Spy” books, but with modern polish and a surprising amount of freedom. All categories are unlocked from the start, and while you only get three free levels per category, you earn tokens that let you unlock any level you want across all themes. That flexibility is fantastic and really lets you play in whatever order suits your mood. There’s a solid amount of content for the price, around 4h30 to fully clear everything without relying on hints. Speaking of hints, they recharge quickly, don’t penalize you for achievements, and keep the experience stress-free (but sadly straight out give the answer, so they are very direct). Progress is saved even if you quit mid-level, zoom works well, and achievements are clean, clear, and not bloated with fillers. You also get multiple modes like color, black & white, and timed, and none of them are forced for completion, which is always appreciated. There’s even a very fun little surprise waiting once you finish the main levels, which I genuinely enjoyed. That said, the game is undeniably easy. Aside from a few trickier flowers and windows, there’s very little challenge, and while I personally enjoyed the calm, relaxing pace, players looking for something demanding won’t find it here. Visually, some comfort options are missing: brightness or background color options would go a long way toward reducing eye strain, especially with the brighter images. I would have also loved if the little thief mascot had more personality in-level, like being hidden differently depending on the environment instead of reusing the same sprites everywhere (like sitting on a bench or going down a slide, for example). Additionally, parts of the end surprise don’t clearly indicate when sections are completed, making it harder to track overall progress if you play on the long-term. One image in the shop levels also stood out, appearing to show what looks like a cut “no photography” symbol. I can’t say for sure, and I don’t want to throw shade at such a lovely team, but if that’s the case, it’s a strange choice for a game built entirely around photos and could’ve been avoided. Overall, it’s a very pleasant, worthwhile hidden object game with a calm, cozy atmosphere and no pressure at all. It’s easy, relaxing, and generous with quality-of-life features, making it a great bridge for hidden cat fans who want to dip their toes into real-world image searches without stress.
I actually really enjoyed playing Pictective (and not just because I think the title is absolutely brilliant). I think it is well made, fun and I love the attention to detail ... and well, there is cats. so yea ! One of my favourite moments? The very first image is of Lyon, France. Lyon holds a special place in my heart, so that is just bonus points ! :D 10/10 recommend. It is dirt cheap, and enough content to keep you entertained during a chill sesh.
This game is alright and can provide some relaxing entertainment. You don't really look for cats (apart from a single one) and instead try to find the spot that's shown in the photographs. My problem was with images that looked absolutely the same. Like all black rooftops and nothing stood out at all or if all the buildings were the same color, with excruciatingly small variations. Now, that's normal in real life, but in a game... If you are trying to find a certain spot and everything looks the same? Stuff starts to blur together... Which is why in H.O. scenes... The games that use the same color-tone or so? They usually hide objects for us to find. Like a fish circling around a plant pot and it looks like decor. You already know that you are looking for something unique and when you spot it... You feel a sense of elation for being smart enough to figure it out. I know this game isn't focused on something like this. It's different, so therefore... It was nice when there was variety of stuff in the images. But otherwise? You get what you see and if you enjoy these, well there ya go. I had my relaxing downtime with this one.
This little seek and match game is fun and perfect to relax to. Its not terribly difficult, and the zoom for the pics helps if you get lost in some smaller matches. Another fun addition to the Noobzilla CATalog.
