Well this was fun. A trivia game at heart (and 75% my kind of trivia) with some rollicking fables and then that old chestnut RNG at the end. I've won a 1/9 and lost an 8/9. Quality RNG. I'm glad I've played this.
Lariat mi vieja w
A really fun single player trivia game that you'll want to replay to see different scenarios, and sometimes even intentionally give the wrong answers just to see where the story goes when you do that. I liked how many of the questions were on categories I actually knew well - anime and indie games. On my third playthrough I did notice some questions start to repeat. Would've been nice if the game kept track of all questions asked so far and didn't start repeating questions until its entire question bank had been used up.
brujita con trivias bien otaku asi como que no te bañas... buenisimo
Romeo could have married Juliet if I didn't forget that Vegeta is the prince of the Saiyans, not Goku! It was 9 "O"s to 1 "X"! Then, the game just picked that one X! LOL. The gameplay loop is simple. When Lariat appears, you answer her ten trivial questions and watch how those poor guys' destiny turns out! Also, … Weird knowledge increased.

Man, I sat on this review for a few nights before writing it. If you like Trivia, and Majotori is on sale for $1-ish (like it usually is). It's probably worth it. For anyone else, or at the $5.99 price, I would stay away. The game is very short. My first playthrough took around an hour and a half, and while the premise is genuinely interesting (a narrative adventure where story outcomes are influenced by your performance in a trivia game) the novelty wears off fairly quickly. Majotori is essentially a trivia game with some branching story scenes attached. The trivia itself is heavily focused on anime, video games, and pop culture. Anyone who watched the trailer should know exactly what they're getting into, so seeing negative reviews complain about the subject matter is honestly pretty funny. The game advertises itself clearly, and it delivers on that front. My bigger issue is that neither the trivia nor the stories left much of an impression. The character narratives are brief, the branching paths are limited, and by the time the credits rolled I didn't feel like I had experienced anything particularly memorable. It's an interesting concept, but not one that stuck with me after I finished playing. At its regular price of $5.99, I think it's a hard sell. There are countless free trivia games available online that offer more questions, more variety, and more replay value.. That's not to say Majotori is bad. it's just very light on content for the asking price. That said, if you can pick it up during a Steam sale for around a dollar, you'll probably get your money's worth. It's a pleasant enough way to spend an evening, especially if you're deeply invested in anime and gaming trivia. But even then, it's not an experience that's likely to stay with you for long. In the end, Majotori has a clever premise but doesn't do enough with it. If you skip this one, you're not really missing out. P.S. Achievements do not unlock while in offline mode, which is always a bummer when playing on the Steam Deck.
Super recomendable, cubre la gran mayoria de nichos y las historias son muy divertidas de ver.
