MagNets is an arena based game with simple problem solving. You play as bot, let's call him Mag. Since Mag has a round-head I assume he dislikes square-heads. Gameplay Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ki-m9Ck9g1k Starting at a relaxing pace the game quickly ramps up the amount of enemies thrown at you and speed they get deployed. Gradually being introduced to new mechanics the basics always stay the same, cast your electromagnetic net (MagNet) around the square-heads and forge the parts collected into tools, preferably ones with rounded edges of course. Using these tools you then solve 'puzzles' contained within each arena and clearing them rewards progress to the next. After completing X amount of levels you will face boss fights and get introduced to characters you really don't want to destroy. :) Some of the later levels became almost tower-defense like in nature requiring a balancing act of defending structures and taking down all square-heads, which was much higher paced but controls stayed responsive. Great soundtrack, interesting side-story, loveable characters and very family friendly. Cheers.
having tried MagNets as an early version mid 2014 and then trying it again January 2015 I have to say the changes have been amazing it was in my opinion a good game in 2014 and now it is amazing1 Fun, Challenging, bright and colourful! I find it much easier to play with a controler but it does cause a painful trigger finger because you just wannt get all the blocksbots! I would highly recommend MagNets as a game to jump in and play adding the leaderboards means you can strive to beat your personal best! I will follow up with a video on the local pvp! GET THIS GAME
Magnets is a great little action game that starts off deceptively simple but soon gets frustratingly challenging (in a good way!) New abilities and concepts are fed to you as you progress so you learn a lot more as you evolve your strategy. The levels are bright and colourful and well themed, each being fairly small and quick to complete so that if you struggle with one then there is a very strong urge for 'just one more go' (I'm looking at you Mr Rabbit out of the Hat....) Definitely recommended for a fun 'classic' arcade game :)
Amazing game, good fun to play.
I LOVE this game! I tried out th beta at Insomnia 52 and I was impressed! This game is a faced paced arena game where you capture these bots and unlock new levels. Also, the bots try to destroy these tower things so you cant just boost you stats in one level to get new acheivements! It also helps with pacing I like the feel of the game and the art style and music fits the way the game feels, so no problems there! I had a bug where I couldn't rebind keys though, I fixed it though! I thoroughly recommend this!
The game is fun at first but after playing for like five mins it gives you a headche isnt keyboard friendly
juego muy divertido :)
it is frustrating losing and winning offers no satisfaction, it is torture to play.
