This game is cool. Enough said. Ok, in all seriousness though, this is one of the most unique and fun games I have ever played in my life. This game has a spectacularly rememberable soundtrack, iconic visuals, simple yet fun combat, and is overall just a good time. Don't get me wrong, I don't think its perfect, it still has its issues and glitches and is much worse on a lower end PC, but I still think that these issues are overshadowed by the sheer number of positive traits this game has. This overall feels like a love letter to the Madness Combat franchise in the best way possible.

Hola
A pretty fun game, where you go into levels and destroy an army of evil goons. The combat is very hectic and similar to the animations is about switching and throwing weapons while endless waves of goons attack you. It's pretty fun. I would recommend to either play on madness or normal difficulty and ignore the tough difficulty, as it makes the enemies a bit too tanky. Although you need a mod in order to play the madness difficulty from the start, since it's locked behind completing the game on tough. The game has 2 main modes, the story mode which is a bunch of scripted missions where you go room to room and sometimes have a bossfight. And the Arena mode, where you usually stay in the same room and defeat waves of enemies. The story mode is pretty fun, just a bunch of missions with cool setpieces and enemies. However, it's very obvious that it was made for co-op, especially during the bossfights. The AI teammates are pretty dumb and you end up needing to revive them constantly, which gets really annoying during bossfights. Still fun with singleplayer if you stick to normal, but definitely made for co-op. Try to play it with a friend in person, or try your luck with steam's remote play feature. The Arena mode is basically another campaign, but you get to customize your character and spec into certain skills, so you can make them really good with guns or a melee monster. You also get to choose an origin, which gives you a unique skill and playstyle. Some origins are locked behind completing the arena mode, but just cheat the imprints in with mods, and choose your favorite origin. It's not worth it to replay the entire arena mode twice to get access to the really cool origins. You also get to hire and customize your goons that join you in your mission, I spent way too much time changing their loadout and playing dressup with them. A very mindless fun mode with tons of customization, but it gets repetitive towards the end, so cheat in the origin that you want since you probably won't complete it more than one or two times.
Madness project nexus is actually one of the fun best fast and pace shooting game to mankind, i honestly would recommend you playing the game!, trust me it's worth the time!, like holy moly i've been playing madness project nexus for a while now.. but still fun!!!
While being a trite product of the RPG element craze of video games, this remains one of the few games I know of that supports the fantasy of being a hot biomechanical monster. As a Madness Combat fan, I'm very biased to enjoying this despite its flaws. You'll need mods if you want to be a woman, though.
