About
EARLY ACCESS: Made Marion has been released in Early Access! Currently Robin Hood, Little John, and Will, the Scarlet Blade's routes are available. Our next route will be Meissa, scheduled for 2026.
What do you do when your best isn't good enough?
Lady Marion of Glastonbury is going to have to figure that out, and fast. Removed from her position of power and thrust into an unwanted arranged marriage, she finds herself careening through Sherwood Forest toward the troubled town of Nottingham.
Released from the confines of her previous life, who will Marion become? A freedom fighter? A knight-at-arms? A reluctant spy? Will she help create peace in Nottingham or hasten the coming confrontation between the strict Sheriff and the rebel Robin Hood?
And will a woman who resisted marriage end up finding love where she least expects it?
Find out when you're... Made Marion.
Made Marion is an otome visual novel - a romantic story primarily aimed at women, though of course all genders are welcome to play! It's inspired by the tales of Robin Hood, but with many of its own twists.
Welcome to Avalon, an alternate-world Medieval kingdom in which humanity exists in a sometimes-uneasy balance with the mystical fae folk. Avalon's hero-king Richard has gone missing, the nation is deep in debt from a recent war, and the commoners are agitating for more representation in government.
Step into the shoes of the proud young noblewoman Marion and guide her adventure in a richly-detailed fantasy world thick with political machinations and mystical intrigue. Decide who to trust and who to love. Can Marion make the right choices to save Nottingham from a dire fate?
Gorgeous Graphics with a Celtic Flair: Enjoy our beautiful, expressive characters and a unique world inspired by a variety of Northern European cultures. Celtic design elements are threaded through our character and background designs.
Proactive Heroine: Her name is in the game's title for a reason! Marion isn't just along for the ride; she drives the plot forward in many ways and has her own goals and desires.
One Big Choice, Two Different Worlds: After the game's prologue, you'll make a big choice that either sends you to Sherwood Forest or the city of Nottingham. Each side has a different cast to romance, and the two sides have a different feeling to them. Sherwood is a swashbuckling action-adventure, while Nottingham has more political intrigue and spy hijinks.
Role-Playing Choices: Instead of using a traditional affection meter, you'll be making major role-playing choices in each route that lead to two possible happy endings. Choose to be clever or straightforward with the flirtatious Robin. Make idealistic or pragmatic choices with Geoffrey and Gui. It's up to you, and you won't be punished with a bad end for your personality choices.
Meaningful Bad Ends: Our bad endings are designed to be logical and interesting, giving hints about the wider story and world or showing a different side of the game's characters. They're also easily reversed, as they come from one-off choices.]
Made for Adults: We're a sex-positive, LGBT-friendly otome game aimed at adult readers, with an over-18 cast. We aim to be mature without being "edgy" and to portray sex as a part of the characters' developing relationships.

Robin of Locksley: A deposed lord who is leading a rebellion against the autocratic Lord Geoffrey of Nottingham. A strong and capable leader with a tendency to hide his true feelings behind a wall of jocularity.
John: Robin's second-in-command, a gentle giant of a man battling inner demons from his tragic past.
Will, the Scarlet Blade: John's half-brother, a daredevil swordsman with several large chips on his shoulder.
Lord Geoffrey: Known locally by the derogatory nickname of "The Sheriff," this stern lord is determined to rule by law, even if the law entails some very onerous taxes. Can Marion uncover the reasons behind his harsh policies?
Meissa: A mysterious, mischievous sage from an enemy land. Kind and compassionate, they harbor a dangerous secret.
Alanna Dale: A merry bard in Geoffrey's court. Easy to fall in love with but difficult to truly know, she guards herself with layers of lies.
Gui la Londe: A gorgeous, graceful chevalier who is a confidant of Lord Geoffrey's despite their very different worldviews. He would like to recruit Marion for an important mission of behalf of the Crown.

Current first impressions are lovely and I am very excited for the full release to come. Artwork is so good. Always enjoyable that characters tease and have fun between themselves and thy have relationships and backstories between the other characters regardless of heroine. Very promising Early Access game.
ok the artwork for this game??? literally amazing, and really the whole game is just high quality. Robins play through has been good but i cant wait for for John's (what a beautiful man) and Geoffrey's (let me thaw your icy heart baby girl)
Just finished the Early Access Robin routes and they are great! Really loving the characters and lore and looking forward to more!
Great content! I don't feel railroaded by choices!
Loving Will's story so far, can't wait to try Robin's next!
The thing that stood out to me the strongest was the art. Very beautiful throughout, the character designs are all appealing as well. The story of this visual novel has an interesting concept, as well as the setting being a sort of alternate-universe version of historical Earth in which fairies are real and druidism is the primary religion of the Great Britain analogue (Avalon). Sadly there is still systemic misogyny in that land (less so other lands which are discussed but not shown), but it doesn't keep the main character Lady Marian down. Instead it drives her forward in spite of it. At the time of me writing this (May 2026) there are only three completed romance routes available, with more indicated to be on the way. I've tried each of these once. They seem decently written and paced. I personally enjoyed Will's route the most by far. Although when I briefly encountered Meissa in the route I was fully prepared to ditch Will and immediately propose marriage to them. Sadly I was not given the option to do so. I'd had high hopes for John's route also, as he seemed to be the most mature and caring in his introduction. However I started wanting to escape that route as his protectiveness started becoming more and more cloying. Sadly I was stuck picking the non-flirt options for a rather long time and still watching the main character fall head over heels for him (despite my meager efforts to not flirt) before I finally reached the stage I could finally choose to break up with him. The "be just friends" route of the game is not implemented (at the time I'm writing this) so it just ended. I regret ever speaking to Robin. I am very much looking forward to Meissa's route being completed, which I'm given to understand might be the next completed route to be added at some point. I am waiting with the (idea of a) marriage proposal for them which has existed since Will's route.
I’ve been interested in this game for years and finally got around to getting it! I highly recommend it, it’s obviously a huge labor of love and has a ton of charm. It’s slightly more mature than your average otome, which is nice. The art is GORGEOUS, and the writing is compelling too! I disagree with the folks saying the price tag is too much for what you get. Three full storylines, plus the extras, make it more than worth it for me. That being said, I’m really looking forward to playing the other routes as they come out.
Made Marion is a fun and interesting retelling of the tale of Robin Hood and his merry men. The story introduces a breath of fresh air into a classic story. I find that the writing, art and music manage to capture the spirit of the tale and the story itself has wonderful new additions that I enjoy immensely! I have loved all the released stories so far, and I'm sure the rest of them will also be as high quality as the ones already published <3
A wonderful game. I am currently replaying Robin's route for the third time, it's so romantic and swoonworthy. Will's route was also excellent. The writer has a brilliant grasp of character arcs, both for Marion and the LIs; seeing how the characters develop and experiencing the romance arcs is both enjoyable and moving - at one point in Robin's route I had tears in my eyes because I felt so caught up in the story. The artwork is breathtaking, creating a world that is relaxing and intriguing to spend time in. The lore and worldbuilding is excellent too, a unique twist on the Robin Hood legends, and I loved the concept of light vs shadow in the public sphere and out of it. I am anticipating future routes with great excitement. I must have sampled well over a hundred interactive fictions over the last couple of years, and this one is firmly in my top three. The care and attention put into the writing and artwork is exceptional. If you have yet to experience Robin's route for the first time, I envy you!
I've played a good few visual novels, but this one is really a notch above in terms of quality. The art is beautiful, both sprites and backgrounds have much more variations than I'd expected. You can see this is a passion project the developer really cares about. I'm playing this in Early Access as only 2 routes are out, and had supported the original kickstarter. Despite the delay to get a full game, I'd say it was worth waiting for, and I'm planning to return for more playthroughs as more routes are added.
