"My Name Is Max. My World Is Fire And Blood."
🏜️Mad Max – An Underrated Open-World Action Game Mad Max is a game that many people seem to have overlooked. I was recently recommended it by friends and through various videos, and I was positively surprised. The game captures the cult look and atmosphere of the films very well, while telling its own independent story. The combat system feels weighty and smooth. It is reminiscent of the Batman Arkham series, but also includes melee weapons and firearms. Depending on the environment, Max uses walls and other objects for cool finishers and special animations, which makes the combat even more varied. Positively, there are also many different enemy types. The structure of the open world is somewhat similar to Far Cry or Assassin’s Creed. However, most of the playtime is spent behind the wheel of your vehicle, and that is one of the game’s biggest strengths. Whether you are exploring the vast map, engaging in vehicle combat, doing races, or completing missions, driving is simply fun. The vehicle can be extensively upgraded and visually customized over the course of the game. Especially with a fully upgraded car, cruising through the desert is a lot of fun. One thing I personally felt was missing is music while driving. It is often very quiet, which fits the atmosphere well and may be preferable for some players, but I would have liked a bit more musical accompaniment. My tip: just play a fitting playlist in the background, which makes cruising even more enjoyable for me. Visually, the game still looks quite good today, and the harsh desert atmosphere is well captured. A small criticism is the searching of camps and other locations. Some collectibles are somewhat awkwardly hidden, which occasionally leads to frustrating searching. Fully clearing all activities on the map can also feel quite grindy over time and may become repetitive. 🏁Conclusion: Mad Max impresses with a good combat system and very good vehicle gameplay. The story aspect is also solidly implemented and fits well into the world. For fans of the films, the game is a bit of a must-play. If you do not mind some grind and simply want to cruise through the desert, this is a really good game to relax with. I can definitely recommend it. Thanks for reading! 14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Juegazo espectacular. (9/10) Va mejorando a medida que avanza. Las últimas misiones de historia son cine.
game is good
im like driving forever and sometimes walking though sand and dirt? i dont know whats going on but the pet homunculus reassures me that the brutal totalitarianism is just australian culture.
I Have Never Watched A Single Mad Max Movie. The Concept Always Felt A Little Odd To Me, And Because Of That, I Never Really Knew Much About The Series Or Even Knew That This Game Existed. But There Was A Time When I Had A Low-End PC, And I Was Having A Great Time Playing The Batman: Arkham Games. Sadly, After Finishing All Of Them, I Had Nothing Good Left To Play That Matched My Taste. So, I Started Searching The Internet For Games Similar To The Arkham Series, And That's When I Came Across Mad Max. Even Though My Impression Of The Mad Max Movies Was Still In The Back Of My Mind, The Combat Immediately Caught My Attention Because It Looked Somewhat Similar To The Arkham Games. With Nothing Else Left To Play, I Decided To Give It A Shot.

The Surprise
First Of All, I Was Surprisingly Impressed By How Well This Game Ran On My Low-End PC. Despite Requiring Higher System Specifications, It Ran Really Well On My 1GB 128-Bit Graphics Card. And As I Progressed Further Into The Game, I Found Myself Having More And More Fun. The Combat, Car Combat, Open World, Atmosphere, And Overall Experience Felt Like Something I Had Never Really Experienced Before. Everything Just Worked Together Really Well.

Story
The Story Was Good As Well, Although I Wouldn't Call It Anything Amazing. In Fact, One Part Of The Ending Actually Made Me Laugh A Little. Spoiler:
Chumbucket Staying Loyal To His Car Until The Very End Had Me Thinking, "My Boy Really Stayed Loyal To His Car Even In Death." 😂

The Biggest Problem
My Biggest Problem With The Game Is That It Feels Stretched Out Because Of Its Repetitive Gameplay. I Feel Like If The Game Was Around 12–13 Hours Long Instead Of Around 20 Hours, It Would Have Been A Much Better Experience. The Gameplay Is Fun, But After A While, Doing Similar Activities Over And Over Again Starts To Become A Little Exhausting.

An Underrated Game
One Thing That Honestly Stunned Me Was Finding Out How Many Gamers Don't Even Know About This Game. Considering How Fun The Combat Is, How Good The Car Gameplay Feels, And How Unique The World And Atmosphere Are, I Honestly Think Mad Max Is A Very Underrated Game.

Final Thoughts
I Would Definitely Recommend Mad Max To Anyone Who Enjoys Linear Action-Adventure Games, Especially If You Like Games Such As The Arkham Series. However, Don't Go Into This Game Expecting It To Be Another Batman: Arkham. The Arkham Games Are Still Much Better, And While Mad Max Clearly Has Some Similarities, It Ultimately Feels Like Its Own Game With Its Own Identity. If You Ever See Mad Max On Sale For A Good Price, Go Grab It.
