We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Mad Max is one of those post apocalyptic open world games that is very easy to overlook. The gameplay is surprisingly addictive. Most of the activities revolve around the Magnum Opus and your car in general. You snipe enemies from a distance, destroy towers, clear minefields, upgrade the car, fight convoys, race across the wasteland, and improve Max himself. For me, the vehicle gameplay is the real heart of Mad Max. The convoy battles are easily the best part of the game. Chasing a convoy through the desert while smashing enemy cars, using the harpoon, firing the shotgun, and trying to destroy the lead vehicle feels great. It is also something I do not see often in other open world games. As someone who loves Mad Max: Fury Road, these sequences capture that same feeling of chaos on the road better than I expected. Hand to hand combat is also very satisfying. Every punch feels heavy and brutal. The basic system reminds me of the Batman Arkham games, but it is simpler, rougher, and much more violent. Max does not fight like a superhero. He fights like someone trying to survive. The story is probably the weakest part of the game. There simply is not that much going on for most of the campaign. The main missions often feel more like another reason to travel somewhere, fight some enemies, and keep moving. It is only around the last quarter of the game that the story starts to dig deeper into Max as a character and delivers some genuinely strong emotional moments. Before that, Max mostly feels like a strange driver wandering through the wasteland, helping people when it benefits him and then moving on. Mad Max is not a game I would recommend for its story. I would recommend it for the wasteland, the cars, the brutal combat, and especially the convoy battles. If you enjoyed Fury Road and want an open world game built around surviving and driving through that kind of wasteland, this is still worth playing.
a bit too grindy, everything else is great
Amazing and underrated!!
Tedious but fun. Madmax has some fun driving and vehicle combat with a contrast of hand to hand combat. The hand to hand combat feels like the Batman Arkham games, which is fine and it works, its just really easy. I think I can count on one hand the amount of times I actually died from hand to hand combat. The vehicle combat is a lot better, you have lots of ways of taken other vehicles down, most importantly a harpoon. Driving through the wastelands was probably where I had the most fun, Mad Max has always had a cool universe and its something special to be able to experience that in a video game. Plot is a pretty simple revenge story and it works for Mad Max, its nothing crazy but it does the job. The big complaint here and you'll probably find this in a lot of reviews is that the game is super repetitive and I mean super repetitive. I actually don't mind some games that are repetitive, sometimes I like doing mindless chores but wow Mad Max takes that to a whole other level. I tried to 100% this game but it was way too tedious for me.
muuy bueno
Fun at first, but it soon just becomes too repetitive.
