Escape room game, strategy, puzzles, pastime, adventure, cooperative play. Short escape, playable in co-op with up to 4 players, but also possible in single player. We are in a completely deserted ancient convent; we must escape, but the exit is blocked. This building hides secrets; we must search for clues and solve puzzles to find 3 relics: 1 = Horn of the Fallen, 2 = The Scepter of Radiance, 3 = The Abbot's Ring After passing ritual, light, and musical tests, we can place the relics on the altar and the exit will open. In the underground prison there is a hidden room, a sealed passage that opens by following the clues hidden in the various cells. The graphics are beautiful and realistic; the convent is majestic and mysterious, rich in detail and accompanied by moving and evocative music. Some of the puzzles are logical, while others are a bit more difficult, but there is a help system with illustrations. The gameplay left me a bit perplexed; some things could be improved: 1= There's no inventory; you can only carry one item at a time; if you pick up another, it falls to the ground and you don't notice. It's very inconvenient, forcing you to travel back and forth a lot. 2= There's no automatic or manual save; you have to play a 2-3 hour marathon game without stopping. It says 60-90 minutes if you know all the puzzles. However, if you have to explore, understand, and solve each relic, it takes at least an hour. If you get tired and decide to continue at a later time, you have to start over. This is very annoying; an autosave should have been included every time you find a relic. In conclusion, I think it's quite fun. I recommend writing down the puzzles you've solved and using them when you start over. I did this and played it in co-op twice. I will truly "READ" the game description next time. I don't care for timed games. I prefer to take my time. I like playing, but the timed part and not being able to save, hard pass for me :(.
Great little game! Many moments delivered a sense of real life escape room feeling without cheap tricks. We encountered one small visual artifact bug. The story is not very deep but enough to have us intrigued about the ending.
A gloriously tough and smart puzzle adventure with no hand-holding whatsoever. You’re expected to learn the rules by experiment, not by instruction. Figuring things out solo or with friends is a satisfying challenge.
He jugado MUCHOS juegos de salas de escape y no lo recomiendo en lo absoluto; Bugs, malos puzzles, la interacción con los objetos deja que desear. Me gustó la ambientación, el resto MEH.
Sanctuary is one dense, sprawling room instead of a trilogy. The abbots’ chronology board forced real note-taking, but puzzles respect your brain without resorting to pixel hunts.
Great game, fun challenging puzzles but not impossible. My quickest solo run is 3 minutes 49 seconds, knowing the mechanics and what you need to do. Also really easy to 100% this game.
The bell-melody trial was great, duo run felt balanced, requires solid teamwork
Quite decent I would say. The puzzles are nice, some note taking probably required. This series appears to make reference to some greek/latin words on occasion, so a familiarity with that may give one a bit of a head start on a few puzzles. The atmosphere is pretty good and there is a little bit of a story to unpack (not that I caught much of it). Some Issues: Since this game features a single fairly long environment, a save system perhaps ought to have been implemented. The resolution options featured in the graphics settings are a bit weird and wacky. For example, 2560x1440 doesn't appear to be offered. In the puzzle with the mirrors, it is very slow to alter their rotation, a bit silly perhaps. There is a time limit of 90 minutes, unless disabled by "Relax Mode". Pretty meaningless feature, could be removed. 62/100
The game is full of bugs. My friends experienced a few times disconnection, and they are not allowed to join the game as the game has already started. So we need to restart the game, and replay from the very first beginning ... Highly not recommend unless they can fix the bugs & issues.
