feels rushed
First of all I loved the first Mad Experiments. unfortunately the sequel feels and plays worse. bad and wonky controls, buggy maps, wierd graphic glitches and the puzzles just don´t work. all and all it feels a bit rushed and not enough beta tested if they tested it at all. i really like escape the room games and like i said the first one was great. i hope if they make a third one they put some more effort in.
This entry was considerably worse than the original, the 'puzzle' designs are some of the worst I've seen in this style of game. I have played a great many of these with my brother, both in VR and on PC and I've never seen some of these 'puzzle' design mistakes in any other game, such as; expecting all players to understand how to play chess in order to complete the 'puzzle' (which is expecting pre-existing knowledge, this is a big no-no for escape room style games, just because I happen to play chess doesn't mean everyone does) or logic puzzles that should be fairly standard being mishandled so badly that even when knowing the answer, it doesn't make sense. On top of these issues, there are activities in the game that aren't even attempting to appear as puzzles but tests of patience, the tube puzzle is possibly the most boring, broken and tedious activities that I have ever come across in any of these games previously. Don't play this game.
First game very good, this one is ♥♥♥♥
If you love to play escape room games then this game sure is worth the money!
Had blast playing this game. the game looks nice and with unique puzzle in each chapters, Altho i did saw some minor bug but wasn't that noticeable (only if you put some items in a specific way to see these).
A good puzzle room game.
This game has some major bugs about halfway through - search online for issues in the Greenhouse. My friends and I were unable to finish the game due to these bugs; even with the puzzles solved correctly, the game does not proceed.
god
This gets a tentative half thumbs up. It's a massive step down in creativity when compared to the first, and it was a bit disappointing overall. I bought this as soon as it was released, as my friends and I loved the first. It's taken time to create, which is understandable for an indie game. Nevertheless, there aren't multiple endings to some maps (like in the first), there is one secret (to my knowledge), and the themes (train car specifically) have been used for better and for worse a few times over by other developers. The puzzles on average are entertaining. There are a few fun set pieces as well, and it's obvious the dev cares about the game. I will continue to support the series, but I'd definitely recommend the first Mad Experiments over this one.
the game has a good atmosphere to it, the graphics are nice and the detail to each room is great.
