A hearty heck no for this one. The excavator simulation's great (and why I re-bought this years later) but aside from that the entire rest of Machine World 2 is unremarkable or spectacularly buggy. Most of the included machines "work" except the bulldozer which rockets off into oblivion at the slightest tap on the gas. Helicopters are...something to be experienced. Ships, especially the largest ones, lean into turns like racing bikes - no joke. Building things works until you reload the game and find everything disassembled back into its component parts or missing entirely. Expect tons of lag due to the game never having developed much beyond an alpha state. Achievement hunters note only 3/12 track and unlock correctly. Want the rest? You'll have to talk to Uncle Sam in that case. Be aware development on Machine World 2 was abandoned eons ago following the usual drama of the developer blaming his paying customers for paying him too little for his overpriced and hilariously underdeveloped game. This will likely never be finished and is not worth the current list price.
Please don't support this game. The developer Daniel has repeatedly come in to the games forums on Steam and admitted he actively ignores the player base. He has also stated he has no intentions of working on this game for the foreseeable future. By his words this game has bugs that he dose not intend to fix until he feels like it. https://steamcommunity.com/app/650350/discussions/0/3193611175983536062/
This game is broken, and development stopped in 2018. DO NOT BUY!
i have watched and followed this game since it came out, sadly i will say it is currently on the back burner. i dont know when or if Daniel will come back to continue making the game and his last response to the fan base was 2018. all of his social media contacts as well have been silent since 2017. i can not recommend this game until we hear more from him directly via his social media accounts. please hold on to your money i personally can not encourage anyone to pay for something that may not come back. hopefully steam is aware of this and has set in motion their response to deactivated games
"He's dead, Jim" Not even worth trying
I dont recommend it AT THIS TIME as the dev has vanished for two years now last heard from him in 2019 if he comes back and updates it and makes it better then i may recommend it then but until then no stay away
Game got abandoned so it never finished. Sadly i were looking forward to play with some friends as it looked like it would have MP but never got that far. Stay away and save your money or buy something else.
The game has been dropped by the developer. Do not buy it, expecting a fully fledged game. Read in the forums, search for the message. But the developer himself has written and admitted to the fact in the forums. This game will NEVER be finished. I only played 20 mins when it went EA, and decided to shelve it till it got more updates and closer to full release. That was a HIGH waste of cash.
was cool idea in 2014 but they just dropped it.
