The original Lust from Beyond is an Adult Only experience. The M Edition is the same game tastefully tailored for a wider audience. M stands for the new Mature rating, but also for the many motifs of the Lust universe. The omnipresent Mystery, the iconic Masks, and overwhelming Madness.
The M Edition contains the following changes from the Adult Only edition:
Nudity has been covered by outfits appropriate to the themes and setting.
Some scenes have been rearranged to keep their meaning but reduce the explicit factor.
Some animations, scene framing and models have been changed to meet the Mature rating requirements.

Verbuggt wie noch was, uninspirierte Story und vollkommen hirnrissige Ideen. Der erste Teil hatte noch etwas lustig Morbides und irgendwie hatte es meine Aufmerksamkeit geweckt. Der zweite Teil scheint sich viel ernster nehmen zu wollen, anstatt die Absurdität dieser Mischung aus Horror und "Erotik" anzuerkennen. "Erotik" ist hier ganz bewusst in Anführungszeichen gesetzt, denn das ist im Grunde nur noch peinlich und fast schon erschreckend wie hier mit dem Thema Sex / Sexualität umgegangen wird. Ich habe es nach kurzer Zeit abgebrochen, weil es mich schon nach wenigen Minuten einfach eingeödet hat. Da spiele ich lieber noch mal den ersten Teil, der um LÄNGEN besser ist.
Should have done my homework to know that this version is a heavily censored one. Funny it's called edition Mature. Had to watch videos of the original version to see the big difference. Though I understand that making a version like this can introduce the game to more audience especially in restricted regions, I would have spent more efforts to get access to the original one had I known the difference. It would have been a completely different experience.
It's a censored version. Why is there no toggle to run? It's annoying having to hold down shift.
