I genuinely regret buying this. Years ago I played the demo and actually enjoyed it. I remember leaving with the impression that this could be a genuinely interesting horror game with unique ideas and mechanics. Now that I've played the full game, I honestly feel like the demo was the entire game compressed into a few hours. Everything afterwards is just more of the same, stretched out until it becomes unbearable. Let's get the obvious out of the way first - Yes, I knew what kind of game this was. No, the sexual content (which is DEMENTED) is not why I'm giving it a negative review. In fact, that's part of the problem. This game somehow manages to make both the horror AND the sexual content boring. Which is impressive considering those are literally the two pillars the entire game is built on. The lore is an incomprehensible mess full of keyboard-smash names and made-up nonsense that desperately wants to sound deep and Lovecraftian but mostly comes across as pretentious gibberish. The characters barely have personalities. The dialogue is awkward. Voice acting is forced and mediocre. The story drags endlessly. "The combat" system is absolute ass. Not mediocre / flawed. Straight a$$. Every time the game forces combat on you (yes, forces), it feels like you're being punished for launching it. The level design is equally awful. Navigation is annoying, objectives are often unclear, and many sections feel like they exist purely to waste your time rather than provide meaningful gameplay. The puzzles are abysmal. Not challenging or clever, just tedious. The collectibles somehow manage to be even worse. I genuinely don't understand who thought hiding this much junk around these levels would improve the experience. And the pacing...This game wastes your time at every possible opportunity. The further I got, the more it felt like I wasn't progressing through a story, but serving a prison sentence. At one point I downloaded a trainer and enabled super speed because I simply wanted the game to end faster. Think about how ridiculous that is. I literally modified the game to play faster and I was STILL bored. The only consistently positive thing I can say is that the graphics and visual design are actually pretty good. That's it. Not the gameplay. Not the story. Not the characters. Not the puzzles. Not the horror. Not even the sexual content that the game heavily markets itself around. Just the graphics. And that's not enough. What frustrates me most is that there is clearly potential buried somewhere under this mountain of bad decisions. The atmosphere occasionally works. Some creature designs are genuinely disturbing. Certain environments look fantastic. But every time the game starts building momentum, it immediately sabotages itself with another terrible puzzle, another tedious section, another awkward combat encounter, or another lore dump about Lord Tentacle McKeyboardsmash and the Sacred Realm of Lustghatathashafhata. I am close to the end, I do not care. I refuse to waste any more time on this psychotic lust-fest. A game being weird is not a problem. A game being boring is. And this game is boring. 3/10 Hours of my life I will never get back.
Rapidinha…
Preliminares...
Lust From Beyond é a continuação de Lust for Darkness.
Dor demais estraga o prazer…
The only terror here is the gameplay
I went into this game expecting it to be a cheap adult game with some nudity and sex scenes. What I got was a fully-fleshed out story with some great characters, fantastic visuals, and some really creepy set pieces. This is a fantastic game that is well worth playing. It's not very often you come across a game where you can watch a guy defecating on a naked girl for 3 minutes to earn an achievement.
A very interesting game with a fantastic plot and storyline. Honestly, I enjoyed the storyline more than anything. I would recommend it if you like Lovecraft and eldritch horrors with a little bit of eroticism in there. I thought this was going to be more "porn like" just based off how the game is explained and the screenshots, but it really wasn't. There was a few scenes here and there, but it's quite quick and tame as opposed to graphic. I'm singing praises for the storyline, characters and character development, but the rest... Was ass. The actual gameplay was one of the first and only video games outside of VR to give me motion sickness on a PC. Do with that what you will. The puzzles... If you like puzzles and figuring things out to unlock and collect, you'll enjoy this. Personally, I hated it, because I hate puzzles/collectibles in game, etc. The "combat".... You have a knife to slash at enemies who are much more powerful than you. Like the game warns, it's better to run than to fight, which I honestly came to hate so much. I don't want to play a running away simulator but 1/3 of the game was just that. One smack from some enemies and you could die instantly. It's also very quick to lose health and sanity, so you really need to be careful about how you approach everything. I liked that part, to keep my mind sharp and honestly feel scared about who would come around the corner, but then I was just running away the entire time whenever monsters came around. Later, you have a revolver, and you put in 6 bullets but you can only shoot 3 and then you need to reload (lmao?). Ultimately, the twists and turns with the repetetive puzzles and environment, then constantly running away or attempting to slash at much more OP enemies than you killed my enjoyment for this game. After chapter 8, I was really looking forward to just finishing it. I wouldn't play it again, personally.
I tried to goon to this game but then I kept getting a crash/soft lock/something in the very beginning when attempting to climb a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ vine to complete the first "nightmare".... I tried multiple ways and different order of operations and I am not sure what I am doing wrong lol. Destined to goon forced to leave a bad review ;(

Lust from Beyond is a pretty good lovecraftian, horror game and a good sequel to Lust For darkness and Lust from Beyond Scarlet, but it's time for the story. A young man named Victor Holloway is having trouble, you wouldn't think so as he has a stable source of income, a beautiful girlfriend and a nice place to live, but one thing that's been happening is that Victor is having strange dreams about an alien sexual world of twisted pleasure and pain and those dreams have been infecting his sex life and relationship with his girlfrind. He has been to all kinds of doctors but none can help him, but his girlfriend tells him of a doctor in the town of Bleakmoor that specializes in the unique problem that Victor has, so he goes to Bleakmoor in the hope to get better, but unknown to him, he'll be forced into a twisted world of nightmares, crazy cults and massed up abominations of pleasure and pain both human and inhuman. Alrighty let’s go into the likes, the story is pretty good like with the previous two games it's a erotic HP Lovecraft like story focusing a lot on the eroticism, but it’s not all about that, as the story had good twists and turns, a very interesting use of Lovecraft’s mythology while still doing its own thing, and interesting world and tied up with some well-written characters. The story also makes some pretty good references to Lovecraft not just with the elder gods, but some of the game chapter names and other little references you'll know if you've read Lovecraft’s work. The gameplay is good and relatively the same as the first two you go round solving, puzzles, while you explore each level and do a little backtracking while sneaking past enemies, there are also some things that help the game stand out like there's a combat system that's relatively simple, also when you get to the alien world you get some magic powers and also some quick time events that was in the Scarlet game. The characters were pretty good each one was interesting and had some interesting personalities, I kind of like the Shackle Brothers as they were both jackasses with some funny dialogue, I also like Mabel she felt like one of the few most normal people in an entire house filled with sex crazed, lovecraftian cultist idiots, I also like the main character as he had interesting personality and being an antique dealer, also some NPCs we're also cool. The graphics are good with its uses of colors, designs and scenery that really fit the regular world and the alien world stand out, especially the alien world with its colors and designs that is vibrant, sticky and definitely really, really erotic. The levels were good each area is distinct and interesting looking from the town, the hotel and the other world, especially the other world as it's quite vibrant and interesting a combination of both Lovecraft and H R Giger, we also get to go outside and see a starry sky. The enemies and bosses were okay with pretty simple AI they run at you and attack, they did have interesting looks though, especially the final boss definitely very creepy and kind of had a sort of Hellraiser kind of look to it. The music was okay, they definitely reuse a lot of soundtracks that were in the previous two games. The voice acting was good each voice actor delivered their lines very well, I do kind of recognize the voice actor that played the main character, but like with the main character from Scarlett I just can't remember where I heard them from. Alrighty let’s go into the dislikes, there were some annoying segments in the game the biggest was those stupid tongue creatures and they're very cheap attacks, they were such bullcrap especially as they can hide in dark areas and blend in with the environment.
I also found the ending after agreeing to kill the final boss to be a little too depressing and the endings for the side characters were depressing too, now don't get me wrong this is a Lovecraft like story and a lot of times those Lovecraft stories had depressing endings, but I feel like some of the endings to the characters were a little too depressing. Even if the main characters ending was depressing they could at least made some of the side characters ending, even if the main character's ending was depressing they could at least made some of the side characters ending happy or at least hopeful.
okay then with that all finally done Lust from Beyond is a pretty good lovecraftian, horror game and a good sequel to Lust For darkness and Lust from Beyond Scarlet, it has a pretty good story, good gameplay and pretty good characters. So do I recommend this game sure if you're into Lovecraft or more erotic type stuff this could be for you and if you enjoyed the first game and the little preview game, then you're definitely going to enjoy this.
