Lunar Nightmare
Played about 4 hours, and this retro sci-fi thriller really captures the atmosphere. The abandoned lunar base feels tense from the very first steps, and the slowly unfolding story keeps attention without rushing. Exploration is engaging — logs, details, and small discoveries let you piece together what happened to the crew. If you enjoy a slow, moody pace and old-school sci-fi vibes, the game delivers.
Why I liked it
Immersive setting — the base design and soundscape create tension in every hallway. Slow-burn storytelling — the plot develops gradually, building suspense instead of rushing to conclusions. Exploration is rewarded — even small findings feel meaningful and push the narrative forward.
In short
[strike]Not for those expecting nonstop action[/strike] — if you want constant combat, this isn’t that kind of game; here the focus is on atmosphere and mystery.

Small note: the pacing is intentionally slow, so keep that in mind if you prefer fast-paced gameplay.

Overall: an engaging and dark experience, perfect for those who enjoy atmospheric sci-fi stories with a slower tempo.
Lunar Nightmare

is a captivating experience for fans of retro sci-fi and horror. Set in 2049, the game places you in the shoes of a protagonist awakening in an eerie, abandoned lunar base. The haunting silence and Unreal Engine 5 visuals deliver a chilling atmosphere that perfectly captures the sense of isolation and dread.

Pros: - Immersive sci-fi horror setting. - Stunning visuals powered by Unreal Engine 5. - Challenging puzzles and engaging exploration. - Tense encounters with androids and terrifying entities. - Customizable controls for a personalized experience. - Atmospheric soundtrack that intensifies the fear.

Cons: - Can`t Sex with rubber duckie - Short playtime. - Limited weapon variety, relying heavily on stealth.

Conclusion: Lunar Nightmare may be brief, but it offers an intense and thought-provoking journey into the dangers of unchecked scientific curiosity. Perfect for fans of retro aesthetics and unsettling horror, this game leaves a lasting impression long after the credits roll. By. FyFani with love <3
UE crashes as soon as the typing starts in a new game. Uninstalled and redownloaded multiple times with no luck. Im on a 14700F w/4070 super and 32 ddr5 with current drivers.
totally recommend this game if you want to get soft-locked towards the end because the developer didn't bother completing his own game
I played this game with great pleasure, so I also recommended it to my brother. He also passed the game, which is why 10+ hours were played. Lunar Nightmare is a fairly short game. It took me about 4 hours to complete, and my brother took more than ~ 5 hours. But we enjoyed the process itself. I will highlight the advantages: > you can ride a transport on the moon > medium-level puzzles, which will allow you to get tired of the game a little > good physics of moon rovers movement > there is a lot to explore The game matches the price / quality. I wish the game had received translations into other languages.
I don't think this game is completely done yet... there's a lot of bugs involved to the point where the first time I tried to play it... it locked up my entire PC. The second time I actually got to play it... but suffered not one but TWO "Fatal Errors" that crashed the game out completely. Also the music in the game is way too overbearing... and I find that if you shut it off completely it really helps sell you in the ambiance of the game and the solitude of space. However when the game keeps crashing... it breaks your immersion and you just become highly frustrated. Then we get to the Storage Area in the game... and I swear it was like the game was running on 5fps. There's also not much too it to call it horror that I've encountered so far... just blood in a lot of areas and the fact that in space... no one is around... so yeah they're not going to hear you scream. I like the idea... but I feel the execution could use a lot of work.
Can't start the game without crashing. Same issue as another review here. EDIT: Just read the minimum system requirements...3060 is the minimum lmao. I have a 3050, that is an insane min requirement. Refunding I guess lol.
Unfortunately I have to give this a thumbs down. The game started off alright, I was enjoying it. It is a space horror themed walking sim, you wander around finding keys and notes, and other items to progress. The story is actually quite good, but the game itself is pretty rough around the edges, lacks a lot of polish, feels like it was rushed to release. There is a warehouse level where you get a massive FPS drop, for example. Badly optimized area. The lighting in this game is horrible, unless you are outside on the surface of the moon, that was actually well done. But inside structures it's too dark and the flashlight does not even help too much. Also, I can see the dev used AI to generate images for posters and ID cards, that's just lazy. There are two game breaking bugs that will prevent you from finishing the game: one is with the lunar vehicle, if you leave the game or you die, the game will respawn you at the mainbase but will save the location of the vehicle wherever you left it before closing the game or dying. Which means you will have to walk a huge distance for minutes if you wanna keep playing. The other game breaking bug is right at the end which prevented me from beating the game. Right after you listen to the AI monologue, you are supposed to go the launch access area, which is locked. To unlock this door you need to access a computer, but when you do so the door in this room gets locked and then you are stuck there with no way out. This door was not supposed to close and lock , it was supposed to stay open. That was the last drop for me, I ended up watching a video of the end of the game on youtube and that was enough. I didn't miss anything because the end of the game is horrible.
NOT FOR GOBLINS !
