Started with a banger, downhill from there.
I loved this game when I was a child. It hasn't aged that well, but I have great memories
8/10
Movement options are cares about camera with A & D being additional ways to turn the camera and doesn't care about the camera with the robot slowly turning to face the direction you're trying to tell it to go before advancing. would really like A and D to be strafe buttons but that's not an option unless I hold down the mouse button the entire time. Turing is slow and not a fan of the fact that Running consuming energy that you have to expend a resource to charge and is used for other things. Not that running is that much faster so I'd rather not have running that risk losing energy I might eventually need for something else. Tutorial is annoying. Great job telling me how to progress dialogue on the very last bit of dialogue. If you need to know the controls to reach the instructions for said controls, there's a problem. In addition, I find having about 5 times more way points that necessary silly when you also restrict the areas you can move through so much that you can only move along the path. Not that the way points do anything because you can skip them at no consequence. Then you're interrupting the gameplay constantly to display a dialogue about controls I figured out as soon as I was given control of the character. I'm not saying you shouldn't explain all your controls but don't pause the game every inches of movement to fade transition to dialogue, explain 1 button, then fade back. inventory seemed to take too long to come up. there was a display under the number of energy cells for recharging that said not translated. I don't know what's not translated or why but I feel it would just be better if that bit of text wasn't there. I mentioned a problem with the volume in a discussion thread but beware because this game will show you how loud your set-up can be.
