Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.13/day in the week to Aug 3 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Everyone is a suspect. Unmask their lies. Choose one to purge.
Lucifer Within Us asks you to solve player-directed, story rich mysteries with your wits, making observations and deductions in a world of daemonic possession and invasive soul-scanning technology.
From the creator of The Shrouded Isle.

Question your suspects. Watch their movements and testimonies closely, as the reconstruction may be based on lies. Use contradictions and clues to form your own hypothesis. Who is lying and why? Who is possessed? You must decide what is the truth for yourself, based on the evidence presented.
No hidden plot twists, no QTEs, no random puzzles or mini-games, just you and the information. In all 3 cases, don’t just act like a detective -- BE a detective. Finding the murderer will require true understanding of the case, not just following the story.

Enter the minds of citizens to gain insight into what they don’t want you to know. Dig through their subconscious and accuse the guilty in order to cast out their daemons, for the good of the Inquisition. Any damage done to a citizen’s psyche as a result of quarantine, exorcism, or rehabilitation is a consequence of their own immorality.
Through centuries of indoctrination, humanity is taught to think pure thoughts and speak true words, untainted by falsehoods and delusions. Yet beneath this facade of purity, you find dark desires stir deep within people’s hearts, yearning for release.

As a digital exorcist working for the Church of Ain Soph’s Inquisition, it is your duty to find sinners and ensure continued harmony. Digital daemons corrupt the network cause human hosts to act on secret desires and sins, even unto murder. Discover the One Truth to determine which citizens are infected and exorcise the possessed.

Built on the rubble of the Old World, the last human city has become a utopia of progress, digitization, and art. The Church guides citizens towards advancement and Truth with the aid of a digital consciousness network.
Use all of the tools at your disposal to find the truth, wherever it may hide… and beware the lies you tell yourself.

Infelizmente é muito curto para o preço base. Ainda sim vale a pena esperar uma promoção e jogar, a investigação e a identidade visual do jogo é ótima, tudo ornou muito bem com essa pegada religiosa do game
Recommend ONLY ON SALE. This is game has a very nice engine for detective stories, interesting setting, pretty OK voice acting... but is super short. You can complete it before the refund window without any hacks/glitches. There is no replay value. The ending feels abrupt. But the core is really cool. It leaves You wanting more. So if You see it on some big sale and have a free evening - grab it. Otherwise - not worth the price.

Absolutely lowed it! Great game at ewery lewel - writing fantastic, art looks good and atmospheric, unraweling cases is really interesting and setting is really intriguing. I recommend it to anyone.
I liked this. It's true that is really short, and that's its greatest downside, so if you can get it at a heavy discount, like I did, you probably should. That aside, I enjoyed it immensely. It's a very neat deduction game. (I like those). Most of it is pretty simple and straightforward. It could have been more elaborate and fleshed out. I really, really I hope the studio does a bigger, denser project in the future.
Good detective game with a unique setting. I wish there were more cases. And remember to click on the head after unmasking a lie, I forgot to do that once and was stuck for a long time.
It just goes on and on and on. There's no straightforward way to get to the bottom of these little detective moments, and the pacing is just so... so.. slow.
Shorter than I thought, but very atmospheric
Really interesting setting and characters, wish there was more of this setting!
玩法有意思,但实在是太短了
Hmmmm, not sure what to make of this one. Lucifer Within Us is a detective game set in a cyberpunk-y church in the future - you are an exorcist who has to find demons controlling humans who committed murders and remove them from the people they inhabit. I want to start with the positive things. I really enjoyed the worldbuilding, because the bizarre mechanics of the world didn't come with preconceived notions about how the murders were committed, and I just thought the whole idea of a tech-church was a really cool vibe. And the actual investigation mechanic was really fun too - your main action is to contradict what the suspects have said by presenting conflicting accounts, or additional environmental evidence, which leads to slowly unraveling a more and more accurate timeline of events. And since there is quite a bit of evidence, it made brute-forcing an absolute last resort. However, I found the game awfully short - there are only 3 cases to solve and one of them is the tutorial case. It does say that in the description, but for 19€ I just expected the cases to be... bigger, or more complex. I found all three of them rather predictable, because the game just hands you way too many hints about who the culprit might be, even before the case starts, and it's usually the "||there is an obvious red herring and it's the person that seems least suspicious at first||" formula and even if you ignore that ||the demonology book kinda gives all of the cases away||. And I found some moments kind of tedious, because I wanted to prove something I figured out, but the game didn't react to my input. I especially think that the last case could have gotten more playtesting. However, the second one I really liked! Then, the game ends on a kind of lore-power-point presentation, which I thought was kind of... okay. But maybe a bit of an underwhelming ending. If you want to see a cool detective mechanic in action, I would recommend the game, but if you want something that's overall a great experience... then you might like it... or you might be a bit disappointed. I guess it depends on the person. I thought the vibe was really cool, and the mechanic was very enjoyable, so I actually would say I did enjoy playing it. I did buy it on sale, though - if I had bought this for full price I probably would have felt a bit cheated.
