Nice experience of this peaceful world. I took many photos as a souvenir nice songs in this game too i like your games! keep going buddy.
Like the other games from this developer; A short game filled with bought assets accompanied with beautiful piano music. Bought assets do not have to be a bad thing and the dev is even crediting which assets he bought. Some of the other games were okay but this game feels like there wasn't put too much effort in it.
Very Short
Following on from a string of "showcase" atmospheric walking sims, Loverowind builds slightly, towards The Promise Tree of Aden, by adding different small puzzle element to the walking sim. I still don't "get" what these are all supposed to do, there are number of them: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/33016994/ by Tonguc Bodur. All short and well atmospheric. The Promise Tree has a demo, and it looks to have some actual solid back story for a change. Would not mind if someone gave me a free key for the Promise Tree at all.
Pulling that Lever
The lever is the key. For a key link to other similar games many of them a bit longer than this one, do check out this list https://store.steampowered.com/curator/41773079-EmpathyGames/list/90741/
Genre
Ein kurzes First Person Exploration Adventure
Story

Follow Main group
Follow Second group

Warning: Asset Flip!
Loverowind is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. As usual with this dev, the asset flip is basically a crap, pretentious walking sim with (very) lightweight adventure game elements. It's very short, shallow, and has little to no gameplay, and the narrative is just garbage... Dear Elise, this is not. Sure, sure, it looks nice (because he stole some great assets that he is claiming credit for) and has a nice soundtrack (because he stole some nice music that he's claiming credit for), but none of that is the work of the "developer". The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 4 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Loverowind is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 9,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
What you will see in first 10 minutes, then it is all what you will see in this game. Music is also very limited here. In Pluviophile (same developer and same price) you would get much more, than in this experience.
This game sure was windy. Had goosebumps and chills while listening to the ambient.
Loverowind, created by Tonguç Bodur, is a quiet, introspective walking simulator that leans fully into atmosphere and sensation rather than traditional gameplay structure. It follows the developer’s familiar style—minimal mechanics, abstract storytelling, and a strong emphasis on mood—but this time frames the experience around themes of renewal, lightness, and fleeting beauty. It’s less a conventional game and more an interactive vignette, designed to be experienced in a single sitting and appreciated for its tone rather than its depth. The experience unfolds across a series of open, stylized landscapes that feel intentionally sparse and dreamlike. Instead of guiding the player through a structured narrative, the game invites exploration at your own pace, with progression tied to the collection of flowers and the activation of scattered altars. Each interaction reveals fragments of poetic text, gradually forming a loose, symbolic narrative. There is no clear storyline in the traditional sense; instead, meaning is conveyed through suggestion, allowing players to interpret the experience in their own way. This approach gives the game a contemplative quality, though it also means that engagement depends heavily on the player’s willingness to embrace ambiguity. Movement plays a subtle but important role in shaping the experience. Unlike many walking simulators that emphasize slow, deliberate pacing, Loverowind introduces bursts of speed through collectible energy points scattered throughout the environment. These moments of acceleration create a sense of flow, allowing players to glide across the terrain in a way that feels almost weightless. This mechanic adds a layer of interaction that keeps the experience from becoming entirely passive, though it remains simple enough to maintain the game’s relaxed tone. Occasional environmental hazards introduce mild interruptions, adding just enough friction to prevent the experience from feeling completely static, even if these elements can sometimes feel at odds with the otherwise tranquil atmosphere. Visually, the game presents a mix of evocative ideas and uneven execution. The environments are designed to evoke openness and calm, with soft lighting and natural elements that suggest a world in gentle motion. At its best, the game captures moments of quiet beauty, particularly when movement and music align to create a sense of immersion. However, the level of detail varies, and some areas can feel underdeveloped or lacking in visual richness. This inconsistency doesn’t entirely break the experience, but it does prevent the world from feeling as cohesive or fully realized as it could be. The audio design complements the visual tone effectively, relying on soft, ambient compositions that blend into the background rather than dominate the experience. The music supports the game’s reflective mood, creating a subtle emotional undercurrent that enhances exploration without drawing attention away from it. It’s a restrained approach that fits well with the overall design, though it may feel understated for players who prefer more dynamic soundscapes. One of the most noticeable aspects of Loverowind is its brevity. The entire experience can be completed in a relatively short amount of time, often in under an hour. This concise structure aligns with its artistic intent, presenting itself as a fleeting moment rather than an extended journey. However, it also limits the depth of its themes and mechanics. While the game establishes a clear mood, it doesn’t have the scope to develop that mood into something more complex, leaving the experience feeling somewhat ephemeral. Gameplay remains intentionally minimal throughout. Beyond exploration, light collection mechanics, and basic movement, there is little in the way of challenge or variation. This simplicity reinforces the game’s focus on atmosphere, but it also narrows its appeal. Players looking for interaction, progression systems, or narrative depth may find it too insubstantial, while those who appreciate experimental or meditative experiences are more likely to connect with its design. In the end, Loverowind is a focused and deeply personal piece that prioritizes feeling over function. It doesn’t aim to entertain in a traditional sense, but rather to create a brief space for reflection and sensory immersion. While its limited scope and uneven presentation prevent it from leaving a strong lasting impact, it succeeds in delivering a calm and thoughtful experience for those willing to engage with it on its own terms. Walking sim with some spring wind vibes, idk
I am sorry, I try not to leave bad reviews but I just can't say this game is worth it, even on sale. There is not much to the story, first part looked like a horror, and I had to double check if it isnt. Wasn't very relaxing like Flower or Journey and overall was just boring. If you collect achievements or try to get 100% in games maybeeee you could buy it, but tbh there are more enjoyable games for this purpose. I guess the good thing about it that it is indeed short and its a walking sim (you walk pretty slow tho)
