Honestly it's hard *not* to compare this with Disco Elysium but it's so clearly inspired by it while adding its own flare. Most importantly though, it nails what makes Disco Elysium so exceptional. It lives in the darkness of your heart but occasionally will poke its head out and honk your nose while saying "honk honk". It loves and hates the world in equal measure. And most of all it's hoping you're having a good time being a lovely lady. Won't be for everyone, but for those who gel with its satire and fun world will have a great time.

The clinic scene was so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good, man. This game isn't entirely perfect, but I really do love what it's going for. And I think all the writing is really good. And the art is really great. As someone who is working on a simpler game using the same engine and style of gameplay with a similar scope, it was cool to see where we went differently. Super excited for the next game the creator is working on.

trans furry horny lesbian disco elysium I approve :thumbsup: On a more serious note, very cozy (bar some moments), endearing (bar some moments) and relatable (yes) game that doesn't really try to hide behind metaphors or be indirect, no- it's uncomfortably direct and in your face about what and who it is about, and that's a big part of why it's so entertaining to play, there's practically zero distance between you and the writer.

Lovely Lady RPG is no immaculate conception. one writer might try and vanish into their work: produce prose that seems to have sprung crystalline clear from the far-off dimension of good prose. Lovely Lady is good because you can see all the grubby personal touches, all the references, all the silly word-play, all the inspirations and autobiographical details. someone made this. you can tell. it's not concealing itself. what a video game!

Short Review: I tried to do what I would each day and I ended up evicted, alone, peniless and somehow also got tetanus. So basically its IRL. 10/10 best game I've played in months. The writing is great, the characters feel honest and I definitely teared up because so much of the dialogue hits so close to home. A fantastic little journey into 4 magical and/or horrible days in the life of a cute little mouse girl jus 'trying to get by. <3

The dialogue is incredible. It is poetic, musty, hot, raw, and painful. This game is why I made my top surgery appointment this week. I cannot recommend it more highly.
