About
Eyes of Rain is a dark fantasy game where your decisions shape the world's future. Choices can have immediate effects or accumulate over time, leading to endings that range from tragic to resolute.

(Primary player character)
A baker in a small, uneventful town, your world shifts when a mercenary in dark clothing shows up to buy a small treat. Who is she? What does she want from you?

Repeated tragedies in her past have led Keniva to accept an endless contract of violence in order to protect what she most holds dear.

Eyes of Rain is a dark fantasy visual novel. The branched storyline and how other characters react to you will change in both minor and major ways pending your choices during the adventure. Romance is optional outside of Keniva's Journal, as those unchangeable events have already come to pass.

Immersive Storytelling: Rich lore in a branching narrative set in the Ethikai universe
Complex Characters: A diverse set of hand-painted fantasy characters ranging from the demonic to the godly, each with their own motivations and secrets
Choice-Drive Gameplay: Your decisions shape the story and influence the world and characters around you
Two Storylines: As the main storyline progresses, pages of Keniva's journal unlock to reveal her past
Collapsible UI: Hide most of the interface at will for a cleaner view
Multiple Save Slots: Easily save and revisit multiple moments in the storyline to see how things change if decisions are altered

Reviews
Though this one was much shorter than the previous Corvaena games, I still enjoyed it! The specific style they employ to tell their stories (having the active traditional VN paired with a traditional linear side story unlocked over time) worked very well here and the revelation in that side story was exciting and it changed how I engaged with the rest of the active story in a fun way, and I really appreciate that. I also enjoyed certain ways they let you define the otherwise set in stone protagonist! Very cute overall. If you've enjoyed their other work (or enjoy VNs that are closer to novels than games), you'll enjoy this one too, though it is certainly much less complicated than the previous games, which could be a downer for some. Still I definitely enjoyed!
