Please follow United Critics for quality reviews
Love Potion Review

The Potion Everyone Wants To Exist
I recently played this game which is a visual novel that's all about love, self-discovery, and the quest for genuine connections. It's been an interesting ride, so let's dive into what this game is all about!
About This Game

Storyline
Love Potion embarks us on a journey with Alex, a lonely man seeking love in unconventional ways. The game starts with Alex, who's been unlucky in love, deciding to take a leap of faith with a love potion from a fortune teller. This premise sets the stage for a story that's both intriguing and filled with potential. What begins as a simple quest to find love gradually unfolds into a deeper exploration of what it means to genuinely connect with others.
Gameplay Mechanics
As a visual novel, the gameplay is primarily about making choices that affect the storyline. There's a lot of reading, with decisions that lead to different outcomes. However, I didn't come across any puzzles or anything that distracts us from the usual click-for-next-dialogue routine we follow. The game is more about navigating conversations and relationships than solving puzzles.
Pros

Engaging storyline with multiple layers and characters.
High-quality visuals and animations.
The game offers various endings based on choices, adding to its replay value.

Cons

Lack of puzzles or more interactive elements might disappoint some players.
Some storyline inconsistencies and errors, like mismatched descriptions, can be jarring.
The belief in the love potion by every character seems unrealistic and affects immersion.

Conclusion
Love Potion is a mixed bag. The concept is intriguing, and the visuals are impressive, but the execution in storytelling has its flaws. The game's focus on the complexities of relationships and self-discovery is commendable, but the inconsistencies and lack of depth in some areas can't be overlooked. If you're a fan of visual novels and are looking for a game that explores themes of love and personal growth, it might be worth a try, but manage your expectations regarding its narrative coherence and depth. I played this game so you don't have to. I am shocked at the positive reviews, thinking they must be bots or paid actors. The story was absolute nonsense. For example, the MC told his male friend not to date a particular girl he is interested in. Then that girl tells the MC that she agreed to date your friend and brakes it off with the MC. Then that same girl talks to the MC about how she has feelings for the MC, never mentioning the previous conversation. The MC and this girl continue to date, and the MC talks to his male friend about how to seduce the girl, never mentioning the fact that the friend and the girl supposedly dated. The friend gives his advice and support to the MC. The dialog and story is an absolute garbage fire. There are dozens of other examples, but I only have the patience to describe one. If you just want to see porn, get it from the internet like a regular person. If you are looking for a good AVN, avoid this title like the plague.
This game is a scam.
This game ist a total mess. The writing is abysmal or maybe even AI generated and doesn't make any sense You actually have copy paste text in some of the animated scenes There are barely any choices to make It is very short It's a gloryfied slideshow with backgrounds you know from other, similar games and still has loading screens I requested a refund it's a joke.
As per some other reviews, this game is an absolute mess. I regret having spent money on it. The names of the characters continually change, the sex scenes are only half done and the text doesn't match the scene. Some scenes are completely missing, as they are referred to in conversation as if they have happened when they haven't. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.
18+ AVN + animations + 6 sexy women = Love potion #9. Amusing story and character development. Though the story jumps around oddly a bit. Make choices that determine your relationship with the ladies.
Follow our curator for similar games
a good Visual Novel. I recommend it. lots of answer options to choose. some supercool clothes. some sex scenes. everything is uncensored, what do you want more. graphic is good. the price of this game is in offer for -35% alright.
The game is a mess, it NEEDS MORE WORK. It has potential, the models and idea are great, BUT, it's very rough around the edges and feels unfinished in almost every aspect: animations, model expressions during animations, dialog options and different paths since seems that choices matter only to a certain minimal degree. If you must play it (It has some enjoyable scenes) I'd recommend purchasing it on sale, it's not worth it's full price IMO.
this game was truly stupid, how do you end up with a girl that you actually dumped on all the time. your choices don't seem to matter much and the interactions seldom make sense
Finished the game in 45 minutes.............................Very few meaningful choices..................Save your money and look for more game play. Wait for it to come on sale................................................... 5/10
