From Nashville to New York, It's 800 miles of love. Amanda Etheridge is just an average, closeted lesbian working at an advertising agency in New York... At least until the huge project she was in charge of collapsed through no fault of her own.

I ask the developers about adult patch/version of the game. Here is their response: "Thank you for writing in. The two versions are separate - so you would need to buy the 18+ version from denpasoft" So you if you buy this game on steam, as i did, you will not get nude gilrs at all. The vast majority of VN game on steam got the adult patch for free but not this one. Why i should buy the same game twice to get full content? What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
This game is probably not for you if:
1. You want a long 6+ hour game. I played this game for about an hour or so each day and ended up finishing it in three days. Although it may depend on your reading speed and whether you listen to the voice acting all the way through, I was playing on auto-mode for most of the game, so three to four hours is probably the natural length of the game. 2. You want an erotic game with explicit images. The Steam version of the game does not include the nudity that the original game does. All of the erotic scenes are removed, but nothing from the storyline is altered or changed besides this. There is no patch available to add to the Steam game's files to add the explicit scenes to the game, so if you want the 18+ version of the game your only option is to buy it from Denpasoft themselves. 3. You want a slow-paced romance story that develops over time and events. The romance in this story is not slow-paced at all. In fact, the romance is very fast-paced. However, their love does continue to develop greater over time and you can tell how much their love for each other grows as they experience new things together. 4. You want a choice-based romantic visual novel. There are no choices in this game, no routes, and no self-insert. It is a visual novel all in itself - a story you read with a soundtrack, voice-acting, and various images and backgrounds. 5. You are uncomfortable with homophobia and abusive family themes. The game does not condone homophobia or abuse in any way; however, it is a prevalent key in the characters' hardships and backgrounds. Family is a huge factor in the storyline, as well. If these themes are harmful to just read about to you, this probably isn't the game for you.
This game probably is for you if:
1. You want a cute romantic story between two women. The two main love interests in this game are lesbian women who are not minors. Their romance is cute and enchanting, and there are no explicit scenes, only suggestive themes. You do not need the explicit scenes to enjoy the game, unless of course nudity is a main factor of what you're looking for. The story is able to be understood regardless and the romance still blossoms between them. I know not about the 18+ scenes of the game, so I cannot tell you with absolute certainty that you will not be missing something important to the storyline, but it did not seem that way to me when I played it. Nothing seemed to be missing. 2. You want an intricate, thoughtful story. It is evident that quite a lot of thought was put into the game. The game revolves around a variety of real-life locations and describes them impeccably and with great detail. It is a very realistic story that touches sensitive family, religion, and homophobia themes delicately and in no way offensively. It does so in a way that you can relate to the characters and their thoughts and backgrounds. 3. You want a well-executed game with lots of effort put into it. The soundtrack and voice-acting in the game is flawless. The soundtrack is very nice to listen to and the voice-acting is beautiful. The voice actors for
the two main characters
are very skilled; they show emotion in their voices very nicely. In addition, the art style in the images is absolutely stunning and gorgeous to look at! The main characters look mature and not childish or cutesy like in many other lesbian games. The CGs (special full-screen images) prevail in both quantity and quality. There are
eleven
CGs with different variations of some. Opinions Most of everything under this subtitle is pure spoilers pertaining to the storyline and is not objective. To be frank, I was disappointed that I would not be getting the full game when I purchased the game from Steam, but I purchased it regardless, and was definitely not disappointed. I completely fell in love with the story, the characters, the art, the romance, and the entirety of the game. [strike] This is the first lesbian visual novel I have played, and even after playing a few more, this one is definitely my favorite. [/strike] With the soundtrack and the voice-acting, it was able to make me cry in one of the more solemn scenes.
When Julie started crying and yelling about her past, how her parents treated her poorly and told her to leave before she tainted her little sister and how even with leaving she still couldn't satisfy them, I couldn't help but tear up and cry. That line, "What would it take to finally make them happy, my death?" had so much emotion in it from the voice actor and the CG was nicely drawn. It is definitely a memorable scene.
The game was able to make me smile widely and want to squeal in the romantic events.
Namely, the scene when Julie revealed to Amanda the birthmark on her back that she was so insecure about, and then Amanda kissed her back as if to show that she loved her, no matter what her past may be. The CG that pertained to it definitely moved me, it is so sensual and absolutely gorgeous. It is one of my favorites, along with the CG of their first kiss. In addition, the final scene seriously made me squeal, wide-eyed and all! I was extremely furious that the game was going to end with Julie just disappearing like that, because "Really? You're going to woo me with this amazing game and then end it so horribly?" Shortly thereafter, however, Amanda chased after her, describing how "She is my princess and I am her knight in shining armor, chasing after her in my chariot". I absolutely love that comparison! The icing on the cake was the finale CG, with Amanda kissing Julie after finally finding her again - so beautiful!
I love how the characters are drawn; I have got to say that that this is one of my favorite art styles I've come across - perhaps my third favorite from every other video game, manga, or anime I've experienced. I'm especially grateful that the art style isn't cutesy and lolita-type, but that is just a personal preference. I love each and every one of the CGs, especially the cover image which blows me away! I can't help but replay the opening whenever I open the game because it is very nice to watch. I really can not count the number of times the game has made me smile. It made me yearn for
Julie and Amanda
to reach happiness and frown when they hit an obstacle. Each day, I looked forward to playing the game in suspense of what could possibly happen next and what new images I would see!
Amanda and Julie's love is just so pure and I want nothing more than to see them happy together!

Conclusion
Altogether, the game has outstanding voice-acting, art, story, and love - the whole package! I will definitely remember this game forever, as it touched my heart and has made me cherish it deeply. I will probably re-buy it on Denpasoft to support the developers and to get the full story. I definitely recommend this game to anyone who enjoys lesbian romances, especially for its price! This game is definitely not worth only ten dollars; in fact, I would pay thirty to forty dollars for this masterpiece! I give the game four stars out of five.
As someone who regularly enjoys yuri visual novels (as you might be able to tell from my most played games), Love, Guitars, and the Nashville Skyline is a bit of an unsteady recommendation. I'll list my points below. For starters, the story moves at a weirdly fast pace. The romance is basically instant, and the plot points later in seem to just drop from the sky, instead of being built up towards. It felt really weird and sometimes forced. There was a bit more of an overt political tone in some of the dialogue, and I can fully see that making people quite uncomfortable if they're in it for the long-haul (like I was). A certain political point regarding war might strike badly with people, especialy. The game seems shockingly anti-Catholic. I understand that the Church has been pretty staunch on their resistance to homosexuality (especially under the former Pope, Benedict), but this painted Catholics as unfeeling ♥♥♥♥♥ that are only capable of hating lesbians, something that I don't really see the need for. It felt, like the political aspects, rather forced. My biggest gripe of all, bar none, was how what I would call the "major" plot twist was not only out of the blue, but it turned Juliet into an absolute ♥♥♥♥ for what felt to be absolutely no reason. I had more times than I could count where I stared at the screen, this incredulous look upon my face, as I witnessed the biggest and most bizarre temper tantrum that I had ever seen. It felt really out of place, all things considered. However, even with all of this here, I still give the game my recommendation. The music choice is very, very solid, as is the art, and I still felt a bit emotional at times, where it was appropriate. The story is still a good read, just..a bit odd at times. So if you're a fan of yuri, as much as I am, then I can recommend this to you fully. If you are looking for something to get into the genre, I'd recommend Highway Blossoms over this, followed by Flowers. A Little Lily Princess, and Nurse Love Addiction. However, don't put this game to the side; it's certainly worth picking up, especially on sale.
I signed up for a cute f/f romance. I didn't sign up for the two women having nonconsensual sex offscreen (because when one of them is so drunk they literally don't remember the next morning, it's DEFINITELY not consensual). The art and voice-acting isn't worth that bs. Absolutely requesting a refund.
If you wanna play a game where a lesbian inexplicably kidnaps a child, this is the game for you! The very badly written game. Don't play this game. Also, Nashville doesn't have a dry heat.
going into this i really thought it'd be good, but like. it really wasn't. the biggest thing that struck me was the voice acting. it isn't bad, it's more so that it feels really, really out of place. especially when they're in america. and aren't japanese. it doesn't really blend well with the story?? also, like,,, it just wasn't very well written. it's incredibly rushed and actually made me pretty uncomfortable at certain points. it just felt like porn with somewhat of a plot. thats the best way to describe it. and it's very clear that this was meant to be targeted towards straight men who think lesbians are hot. i got it on sale so i'm not gonna complain about the price, but i wouldn't buy it for full price. also, after having patched it myself, i wish i hadn't. it costs $5 more if you wanna buy it patched, but like,,,, don't bother. it's genuinely really really uncomfortable unless you're one of the straight men mentioned above. you might like it then, dunno. in the end, it felt like a huge chore to read. there were points where i just wanted to drop it completely. i guess i wouldn't say don't buy it, but,,, it just wasn't for me
A very fun and emotional story, took me a short while to get into it but I liked it alot. I loved the music, I could listen to that any time. Overall, I feel that it was a good story and I recommend this even more for people who are fans of Yuri
This was a beautiful story and I loved the roadtrip through the south! The story is realistic and relatable. Visuals were nice and accurate to the cities they were representing. Really good job. A lot of love went into this project. I would love a part two or to see a similar theme explored.
What a piece of garbage. I thought this was going to be a game where you would be allowed to make choices on the ending, but no it’s more or less a video short story. It’s not even in English it’s in Japanese, the story is completely implausible and almost everything in in the story puts a negative spin on every male person in the story and it portrays them as rapists and abusers. It paints a negative light on the immigration policy, military policy and exaggerates LGBT concerns for the United States even takes a swipe at religion. The only part that was funny when they talked about loyalty to the main characters employer, you can tell the game was created by someone that has never been to the United Sates and just relies on stereotypes that the Japanese have on what the United Sates is like. Save your money and buy something else.
