Uhm, wow, how dare this game make me cry??? I actually teared up, maybe because it made me think of my grandmother who I miss very very much. Also I would die for Lump. That is all.

Cute game, story is somber and sweet. The game is aimed at a younger audience and what its trying to do it does well. For someone older its still enjoyable. Expect simple puzzles and a casual time better if you're more relaxing than rushing. It's not very long, look for a sale

Lost Words: Beyond the Page ist ein wunderschönes, total berührendes Spiel, das mich von Anfang bis Ende emotional abgeholt hat. Der Zeichenstil ist atemberaubend und wirkt wie ein lebendig gewordenes Tagebuch, das man Seite für Seite entdecken darf. Besonders stark fand ich, wie nachvollziehbar und feinfühlig die Trauerphasen dargestellt werden: nichts wirkt übertrieben oder künstlich dramatisch, sondern ehrlich, leise und gleichzeitig unglaublich intensiv. Die Geschichte schafft es, schwere Themen behutsam zu erzählen, ohne dabei die Hoffnung aus den Augen zu verlieren. Für mich ist Lost Words ein Spiel, das man nicht einfach “durchspielt”, sondern erlebt. Wer emotionale Storys liebt und sich auf ein sensibles, kreatives Abenteuer einlassen möchte, sollte dem Titel unbedingt eine Chance geben.

I can't even put into words how much this game means to me. It's the most beautiful and heartbreaking, yet heartwarming games I have ever played (noted that I don't really have a lot of games on my playlist haha) . It's not a game for strategy or precision, the gameplay is really easy, especially for beginners. It's mostly the story that makes the game that wonderful and special. It's a game about loss and about acceptance. It's about loving, but still having to let go. It's about grief and it's about learning to start new. It's really outstanding how this game can help, not only with a loved one passing, but also with heartbreak, depression and other mental illnesses. I think everyone needs to play this game. It contains so much depth and meaning and gives me hope in a world that can sometimes be full of darkness. This game is a glimpse of hope for everybody that feels lost. I can't thank the producers of this game enough. Play it, you won't regret it.

Qué maravilla de juego... me ha dejao sin palabras, y nunca mejor dicho. Es precioso de principio a fin: los colores, el ambientado, el diseño, la animación... todo está hecho con un mimo que se nota en cada detalle. La historia te llega al alma, contada con una sensibilidad que poquitos juegos tienen. La mezcla entre las páginas del diario y el mundo de fantasía es una delicia, y la música… ¡uff, la música! pura magia. De verdad, una joya que no se olvida. Se nota que está hecho con cariño, con arte y con corazón. Si te gustan las experiencias que te tocan por dentro, este juego es pa ti, sin duda. 💫

I love how creative this game is! From using the words in the diray to diving into the story visulally! It really is like read a story from a book and seeing the words come to life, even if it can relate back to what's happening in real life and the difficult feelings that comes with grief.
