A Fantastic Arcade style dungeon crawler, perfect for coop play , lots of content and an amazing progression system. To start this adventure, choose from 1 of 4 stand classes each with a unique deck of cards to start and head out on horse back to explore the lands. Meet friendly merchants to enchant your cards, discover powerful artifacts and even test your might and skill against challenging foes along the way. Your Deck is just the Start though as it is up to you on how to use them, whether its in decisions with npcs to grant either buffs or discounts or on a fully transversable arena where you battle and strategize, but becareful your health carries over from battle to battle so dont be careless . Lost Meridian is a spectacular game especially if you enjoyed combat of baldurs gate and want just a little more, as it is not a perfect comparison , missing a narrative story , focusing more on an arcade style. Yet the developer behind this Deck Builder does promise more to come and we continue through the dungeons. With that being said and a price point of 8$ on launch day We rank this game a surprising 5 out of 5 over all , so get out there , Learn the paths, build your team to match your playstyle and see how long you can survive in Lost Meridian.

This game is a lot of fun, and even with a bunch of mechanics, it juggles the complexity well with clarity through lots of quality-of-life adjustments. I think with some extra polish on the inventory / store screens and perhaps a little bit of narrative, this would be one to play a bunch!

[b] Gameplay: [/b] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZKPCsG222s Stellt euch vor ihr spielt Dungeons&Dragons aber anstatt Fähigkeiten benutzt ihr eure Karten. Ihr habt 4 Charaktere und trefft auf eurer Reise nicht nur Monster sondern auch NPCs die entweder eure Hilfe brauchen oder euch in eine Falle locken. Anstatt zu würfeln benutzt ihr das Mana der Karten, sobald ihr auf ein NPC trefft und euch entweder entscheidet diesem zu helfen oder euch quer stellt. Die Charaktere können mit Artefakten ausgerüstet werden damit sie z.B. mehr Schaden machen bzw aushalten. Die Karten können durch Gold, welches ihr nach jedem Kampf kriegt, verstärkt oder ausgetauscht werden. The Lost Meridian wurde von einem einzigen Entwickler gemacht, also mehr Indie geht nicht. Natürlich gibt es dadurch, vor allem wenn die Charaktere von Punkt A nach Punkt B reiten Leistungsprobleme und dadurch FPS Abbrüche, was man aber von den Kampfszenen nicht sagen kann. Für den Preis von knapp 8 Euro kann ich das Spiel aber wärmstens empfehlen.

This is a surprisingly fun game with friends -- being able to move around and line up shots, and use obstacles adds a welcome dimension to the genre. It's unfair to write this off as just a AtO clone. Yes, it is rough around the edges, but if you like co-op card battlers this adds some good layers and plays well enough for some enjoyable sessions. I understand it is a one-man operation, and I hope the developer continues to flesh out the game. I don't really care that the assets are generic or whatever some ppl have said -- it is the gameplay that is important and the core gameplay here is solid enough for me to hope it keeps getting updates.
