Lost Princess is a walking simulator played in winter villages. The player is tasked with finding items to get achievements. The game is a large open world so searching is definitely going to take time. One item is a deer skull that gets an achievement. The game world has several towns to explore,. This game is not very demanding and playtesting it on my Dell XPS 15 9570 with GTX 1050 Ti graphics handles it fine.

The developers attempted to compensate for the lack of actual gameplay mechanics by labeling this game as a "walking simulator." However, games within this genre typically rely on compelling storylines to maintain engagement. In this particular game, you simply spawn into a random snowy location with no clear objective. Your task is to explore the snowy environment in search of specific items that will earn you an achievement, and this is essentially the whole gameplay.

🔷 Even in their attempt to create a game with minimal content, the developers failed to design a proper game environment. Many of these so-called hidden items are placed in areas that are poorly rendered, with floating mountains and gaps in the terrain. Even though the game is a disappointment, I was curious about the game's ending. However, just as I was about to finish, the game glitched, causing my character to fall through the game floor into oblivion. Quite the unfortunate turn of events!

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3060597254
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3060597915
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3060598079
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3060598192

🔶 Naturally, when the game level is incomplete, the overall optimization is bound to be poor. Even on a decent rig, my FPS remained around 30-40 throughout my entire playthrough. This serves as yet another reason to steer clear of this game.

📷 Visuals and Audio:

🔷 The game bears a striking resemblance to an incomplete version of We Were Here. If the level had been properly designed, I don't believe I would have any issues with the game's visual aspect. However, as it stands, the presence of visual bugs significantly detracts from the overall visual appeal. The entirety of the audio in this game consists of a single, rather unpleasant soundtrack.

📝Main Pros and Cons:
Pros-
I don’t particularly like anything about this game.
Cons-

Poor optimization.
Visual and game-breaking bugs.
Uninteresting gameplay.
The soundtrack was very bad.

😇Honest Rating:

🔶 In its current state, the game is essentially unplayable. Given that this is a pre-release review, I am uncertain about the price of the game upon release. However, even if it were free to play, it wouldn't be worth your time.

Rating: 2/10
Reviewer: Sha Poor princess.

Warning: Asset Flip!
Lost Princess: Winterland is an asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", Tero Lunkka, took the Polygon Vikings Pack game assets from the real developers, Synty Games, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work. It gets worse... "Polygon Vikings Pack" has also been shamelessly dumped on Steam by other asset flippers apart from Tero Lunkka/Mixtor:

"Mighty Vikings", asset flipped by Enoopos/Enoops
Take a look for yourself... these are exactly the same game assets! Tero Lunkka/Mixtor has shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

"Candy Golf" = Mini Golf Template developed by GoFlood
"The Warrior Of Treasures" = Dynamic Combat System developed by Grzegorz Szewczyk
"Lawnmower Game: Pinball" = Pinball Construction Kit developed by Epic Games
"Cyborg Invasion Shooter" = Third Person Shooter Kit developed by Epic Games
"Candy Renovation" = Renovation Simulator developed by Manudog
"Office Racer" = Polygon Office developed by Synty Studios
"Fancy the Frog" = Pixel Adventure 1 developed by Pixel Frog
"Nash Racing 2" = Advanced Tuning Cars developed by James Novih
"Survival Isolation" = Easy Survival RPG developed by Easy Systems
"Aliens Dont Exist" = Alien Character - Free Sprite developed by Craftpix
"Nash Racing" = Advanced Tuning Cars developed by James Novih
The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Polygon Vikings Pack" is just an asset pack including a series of "viking" themed 3D low poly characters and assets combined with one or two other, extremely bad quality assets to make a very basic first person "adventure" asset flip, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game. Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from Tero Lunkka/Mixtor.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3103819819
Point positif
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3103819178
For many sleepless nights I have tossed and turned, waiting for a game that scratches a primordial ITCH like this. This. Game. Is. IT. Put aside all your gay little AAA titles this is the real meat and potatoes. At first i was captivated by it's incredible range of options to tweak my gaming experience, a staggering 4 DISPLAY SETTINGS let me get as many as 11 heat warnings on my gpu as this game runs like a bitcoin miner, which i'm sure it isn't. The story stole my heart I could relate to the truly noble quest of finding the lost princess, i too have embarked on a similar journey in the DRC, searching for not one but two of my children i sold to a warlord in 2011. Their sacrifice meant shark cards for me, and similarly the princesses sacrifice gave me a small hit of dopamine every time I found a ripped unity community asset tossed into this barren and lifeless world. This game has given me motivation to learn game development myself, so that i too can download textures off of russian forums and expertly craft a walking simulator/bitcoin miner for about 7 people to enjoy. Up g2a and may allah smite the developers of this game.
Lost Princess: Winterland on hyvä avoimenmaailman kävelysimulaattori peli, jossa pelaajan täytyy löytää kadonnut prinsessa sekä kadonneita esineitä talvisesta ja kylmästä maailmasta. + Switch Pro Controller Support + Quite big open world to explore + There is lot of achievements, when you found item which needs to be found (see achievements tab for help). + Graphics are good. + Lot of the great things to photograph/take screenshot captures. + Finnish game developer Tero Lunkka/Valkeala Software. - No checkpoints, small bugs.
Honestly, it cost me like $2. And whilst the game is a lil buggy, like when you fall through the floor, its quite fun. I had a good time walking around finding secret things and taking screenshots. For what I paid, I'm happy with what I got :)
amazing music and big map
