Just finished the game and here it is folks. This game above anything speaks on a level of Daoism. If you want a game where it makes you question yourself in this universe, please buy this game. The sidekick/narrator has this calm voice that should be giving lectures at a planetarium. The game itself is stunning and it's something that you would want as a free floating mode and just cruise through the cosmos. Onward to the game-play. The control's are what you would expect in a null gravity environment. Remember, you are a spaceman doing an EVA with a single point thrust source. You will have directional lag, so don't expect pin point control. The "warp zones" are everywhere, but that does not mean you have to use them. The walls are hazards, the space is a hazard, everything is a hazard. Everything is trying to kill you, even you are trying to kill you. That's the charm, picture the movie "Gravity"...but better... I will not give away the story, but I will say this about this added feature. The music... If any of you have ever played the game Rochard, the music made it top tier. This game should be talked about more and the music is the X-factor behind it. Some levels, the music makes your pulse pumping, and you just want to throttle full speed and damn any hazards. Other levels, the music dials you back. The composer, you sir...I tip my hat to you. I got this game during a sale, but knowing what I know about it now, I would have paid full price. I will be playing the 2nd game of this title in the next 48 hours. If they ever make a 3rd, I would sell my kidney to be one of the beta tester's on it.
It's only 3 bucks...but it only lasts 2 hours. Barely. Nice distraction. Basically you glide through levels and evade obstacles, hitting speed boosts, etc. Most levels take around 2 to 3 minutes. You gather stuff to upgrade your suit, though that's rather inconsequential. Knowing what I know now I would only invest in gaining resources easier and upgrading my boost. Speaking of which...there is a boost in the game and you can upgrade the capacity, sadly this is never really replenished in game...only a minuscule amount, before you're back to the minimum, which you can use for like 1 second. At times the game is just overwhelmingly fast and bright, but I'm also getting older...am slightly sick, etc. and I still beat it within 2 hours...sooo. Yeah.
noe off the best games i have playd !!
Хорошая игра
Be Warned! this is packaged with the sequel. And they force you to play through this game again before you can play the sequel. Skip this game and buy the sequel if your interested.
Really enjoying this game. It's fast paced but at the same time very relaxing. The narrative is simple but engaging. It's a really cool game I saw on PAX Prime, after 5 minutes of gameplay, I knew this game was awesome! Just one small request to the devs: after completing a level, just go to the next one right away, don't return the player to the level selection screen.
EDIT: I'm changing my thumbs down cause the game deserves some credit. Although very short, it's a lot of fun to play while enjoying the amazing soundtrack. I'd recommend getting on a sale bacause it's really not very long at all. Original review below still applies: Don't get it for mac!!! Seems kindda fun though
A delightful little romp through space. Great tunes alongside a fun speedrunner-flying kinda thing.
really fun game with cool ideas and mechanics. i watched sodapoppin play it on twitch but didnt really pay attention I expected it to be some arcade-type game. I was not expecting it to have a pretty intimate story behind it as well. i caught it on mega-sale for like $1, but it's very good. havent finished it yet so I cant say for sure if theres $12 worth of content, but it definitely has me surprised so far.
Great game, is short and sweet with amazing narration.
