Unfortunately imbalanced. If you die you come back with 1/4 health, half the things can outrun you, always know where you are, health pots are too expensive for how little they regen, you can't go to the same spot twice (even if you have the time/ you have to waste fuel to leave and come back) if you leave a friend at the store and start early it counts as a death. It's hard to tell your friends to hang back and just not play the game. The game shows promise, but they just have so many unnecessary debuffs that discourage you from taking risks. If you don't get the artifact, stated in your contract, then the game just ends. (I wouldn't have a problem with this if you didn't have only one chance to get it) as a side note the backpack is 200 gold and only adds 1 extra slot of inventory space. This game is rough (not in a good way) it feels like the devs purposefully sabotaged their own game with some of the mechanics. would love to see these things change. outside of streamer content, this game will not be able to stand its own. I would love to like this game, but it's just not setup well, and the changes that are needed would be quick and easy to implement. PS. goblins don't stow or hide items they steal, they delete them (They can do this to artifacts so gg) there is no way to fight back against weaker things. (played after the 1.0 update/release nothing has changed)

This game is pretty fun, if you're a fan of Lethal Company, I think this will resonate with you well. The dungeon generation is better in my opinion, the Skyships and antics with friends is pretty great, and the permanent progression adds a lot for me, as the other games in this space don't have that progression path. Art style is nice too, kudos to the developers, I'll be sure to play this tons with my friends!
Was scared ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ playing this with a guy named Drizzy. He rounded a corner and disappeared, I COULDN'T FIND HIM ANYWHERE. And then there was this sound like gurgling and I turned a corner and there was Drizzy. Only, it wasn't Drizzy. It was something...else. Spooky nostalgic game, 10/10
as of right now, the game is extremely unbalanced. 8/10 times whatever's chasing you is already faster than you, and forget about upgrading your character since the way to get any sky shards is to either 1. die a lot after getting loot so you trickle level up, or 2. get the objective that's nigh impossible to actually get since you have one shot to grab it (info gleamed from another review since i only made it to the objective once or twice ever) and the level of difficulty for staying too long looking for it if you aren't lucky ramps it up to the point you may as well just restart. i'm shelving this one until the next update drops, since i'm gonna assume they're still working on it, they should still work on it as it has a lot of potential and i'd love to revisit this review in a better light, but if they aren't then it's entirely not worth getting as it is right now.
it is a very fun game. Worth a few hrs of fun if you are into a lethal company styled games.
Great look and feel, monsters initially seemed a bit one note but then I realized they add up. The variety of horde causes the TPK. Goofy, fun, definitely a solid game.
My friend gifted me this game and honestly it has loads of potential, it is honestly one of the better games of this genre it does need a bit of work but overall it's really good!
The theme is excellent and the game has a lot of charm. The progression system is a cool concept, though the lack of game saving is crippling. Also, the lack of graphics settings (particularly to turn off motion blur) is a bit painful. Overall, it just needs a bit more polish and I am exited to see how it improves. I think it would be particularly fun if the quests allowed you to use the goal item afterwards, or at least gave more unique rewards.
Streamed the demo, one of the devs came in and chatted with me, this game is infinitely better than Lethal, but in a similar vein, The idea of outrunning a storm and angry space whale provides more suspense and better motivation than an arbitrary 3 days of gathering scrap, Not just that you get the funny movement, hundreds of ways to kill your friends, can't go wrong
Honestly great fun, I can totally see the direction the devs are going for with this game. I feel like this game has a lot of what Lethal Company has, but with more purpose wrapped around it. Totally recommend giving a shot with your friends.
