Nice abstract that features placement tactics and a common deck. I tried it out and it works remarkably well. The basic system is very easy but provides room for a lot of variations and different tactics. I dont know if there is a table top version of it, but i would sure buy. Gamewise definitely worth trying out if you are into abstract, tactical games. Horrible interface and graphics though. I would advice to tune it a bit. https://store.steampowered.com/app/977830/Lost_Bazaar/# - Though you can turn off the board rotation, it is confusing EVERY turn when its on. - Also there is no real point in having cards upside down in play, as the color tells you who's card it is, it only makes it more confusing. - The indication that something is on a special tile (profit, protective etc.) is confusing as well. The bottom bar is a players color, unless it is on a special tile, than it has that color. And than the board rotates. Ultra confusining. Making topbar (which will ALWAYS be top regardless of a players turn) player color and bottom bar indicate the underlying tile would make things a lot clearer. - The material is clear in the preview pane, but once on the board, it is totally unclear. - Zooming in could give a lot of extra clarity, but instead it gives you a low res version of the board. - The icons on the cards are not intuitive at all. If you dont know what they mean, you dont know what they mean. I would use more predictive icons or even keywords if neccessary. - The Draw Item option is pretty useless. In all games i have played the game could just as well toss me an item automatically. - Resuming a finished game? What does it do? Totally unclear. Going to your next page or to the next game should not through " returning" while resuming means, stay in a finished game. - I' m not into eye candy at all, but you could try a few nice backgrounds for the boards and some decorations around the various control areas. - The Tutorial is TEXT-only. I would advice to make it an interactive one. - A lot of stuff is depicted through colors (material, player, underlying tile, effect type). Try to use shape, icon, color, keyword, decorations etc. etc. instead of only using color. Furthermore the "Profit-tiles" are a bit lame. It is too obvious that your first cards need to go there. Using a knight or something else can make you "capture" it, but in my opinion it doesn't add much to the gameplay. Especially since having a high value item at the start can make a way too big difference.
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
"Lost Bazaar" is a mediocre "chess with cards" multiplayer boardgame that was never fully made, abandoned, and never even made it to mobile app stores/web publication (yet somehow got published on Steam, which I'm pretty sure was never intended to be a launcher for browser games). What do you do in the game? The merchant theme is kind of irrelevant, if anyone played this, they would be putting down cards that move around a "chess" board and try to dominate as many tiles as possible. The developers abandoned this 5 years and 4 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. For gameplay purposes, because the user interface for this game is mostly just 2D static text/images... it might as well be a web page. It's functionally no different from a browser game. And we all know, Steam isn't here to compete with Chrome and Firefox. If the game can be done in a web browser, it's just not rich or compelling enough to appeal to serious gamers on PC. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs and the latest 3D graphics cards to play 2D games. Even mobile phones and game consoles can do 3D graphics now. There's no excuse. This game is fairly dated at 5 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 5 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead.

Fun take on the tile/tactical card/board game genre. The systems are thought out and intuitive. A game to play with friends, match with someone and have a battle of wits where you're constantly trying to outsmart each other. Not having drawing a card at the start of the round is probably a mistake since, while there is a reason to draw later on in the turn, it's a niche situation, so the default should probably be changed. That's my biggest gripe with the game.
