Lone Fungus: Melody of Spores

(현재 60% 정도 진행함) 장점 1. 캐릭터들이 귀엽고 아트가 사랑스러움 2. 보상이 확실하고 편의성이 매우 뛰어남 3. 레벨디자인이 좋고 전투가 꽤나 재밌음 4. 지도 시스템이 잘되어 있음 5. 마을, 상점, 사이드 퀘스트 등 콘텐츠 풍부 6. 보스들 패턴 즐거움 단점 1. 몬스터 종류가 다양하지 않음 2. 플랫포밍과 몹 배치가 약간 악랄함 3. 난이도 조절이 세밀하게는 불가함 4. 아이템 가짓수 대비 재화벌이가 쉽지 않음 5. 글자도 픽셀이라 가시성 떨어짐 6. 무기가 8방향인게 매우 불편함 2d 스타일의 매트로배니아 좋아해서 구매했는데 제 취향에 맞았습니다. 주인공 버섯돌이가 너무 귀엽고 사랑스러우며 마을도 세계관도 npc 들도 아기자기 해서 좋았고, 아이템도 굉장히 다양하고 얻게 되는 기술로 성장해 나가는 등, 매트로배니아에 충실한것도 맘에 들었어요. 지도에서 세이브로 바로 갈수 있게 하여 편의성도 아주 훌륭합니다. 그러나 8방향 채찍이 플랫포밍 및 전투를 할때 빗나가는 경우가 많아 불편하고 아이템을 사기 위한 재화벌이가 쉽지 않습니다. 몇몇 구역에서는 벽에 매달려서 싸워야 하거나 몹 배치가 악랄하다고 느낀 구간도 있었는데요, 그럼에도 불구하고 너무 재미있게 플레이 중입니다. 주인공 버섯돌이가 행복했으면 좋겠어요.

Yup. Good game. Lone Fungus was awesome and if you liked that you'll probably like this. There are... a *lot* of metroidvanias on the market these days, and I've played probably more than my fair share. Lone Fungus: Melody of Spores has nice enough art, music, story, but none of these truly stand out, so why do I like it so much? The movement and combat are fresh and good. That's it, same as Lone Fungus pretty much, although the movement in this game is a little bit more constrained. But the subtle animation cancel possibilities and move combos (some of which aren't even really announced anywhere, you just try things out and they work) make it wonderful. Also having gotten 100% map, it feels nice to be a bit OP on normal difficulty. The final boss wasn't a pushover, but also wasn't still terrifyingly hard given that I'd put so much effort into exploration. Games like 9 Sols or Silksong will include really punishing final bosses no matter how much effort you've put into finding secrets, and that's a fine brand, but it's also nice to have a game where the exploration feels like it really rewards you with an easier time of the combat instead. As a nice cozy metroidvania with excellent platforming and movement challenges, Lone Fungs: Melody of Spores has a nice niche to live in, and if you like those things, you'll love this game.

8.5/10 挺不错的类银河城，地图设计不错，游玩过程非常丝滑。可惜没有中文。

An ok metroidvania worth the $10 I think I paid for it. Grade: C

Loved it. It included everything that makes metroidvanias great for me. Highlight is the platforming. I've read somewhere that basti described this game as a metroidvania with Celeste inspired platforming and I can see where he's coming from. Took me about 16 hours to get 100% on normal difficulty.

An excellent sequel.

Platforming is clumsy and annoying. If you want to buy waypoints for teleportation you will never have enough money to buy equipment. One of those games that is ok to play when you have nothing else to play. Not worth the full price.

This game is fun. I manage to finish in around 2 days. There's a lot of improvement. I still feel like the 1st game is bigger and more challenging and mre exploration though.

Really sweet Metroidvania, I enjoyed this one. I found it more traditional than the original Lone Fungus, but the challenges were way more feasible! If you like Metroidvanias, you'll like this game.
