About
It's the age of blood, guts, and meat. A zombie virus spread throughout the population, turning millions into ravenous, mutating monsters. Humanity seems to stand on the brink of extinction. That's where you come in. The world can still be won back through superior firepower. Take charge of the counter-attack, wipe out waves of zombies through seemingly endless nights, and win the Earth back!
Blood and Zombies is a hybrid of a tower defense game and a first person shooter. Select one of four heroes, deploy to the war zone, and build up a fortress that will withstand the onslaught of the zombie horde, until the last zombie falls and another city is reclaimed for humanity. Then reload, rearm, and get into the fight again.

Deploy and build up your fortress, from a small outpost to an impregnable bunker capable of defeating a horde of any size.
Choose from among dozens of defensive structures, from landmines, through conventional machine guns, to Tesla towers capable of frying dozens of zombies at once.
Adapt your strategy. Focus on traps? Maybe autonomous turrets? Geometry corralling zombies for a well-placed grenade?

Control one of four playable heroes, each with a unique skill tree that you unlock after each surviving a wave.
Create your loadout from over a dozen primary and secondary weapons, matching your playstyle.
Destroy over fifty distinct types of zombies, out for your blood. Careful, these not only bite, but use weapons!

Every battle is different. Experiment with loadouts, defenses, skills, and strategies.
Do you go all out, spending money as it comes in? Or do you risk defeat and save up for the top tier guns and turrets? Or somewhere in between?
Keep your powder dry and good luck. It's going to be a long night.

Like Left 4 Dead, this game's way more fun with friends, especially if you all appreciate "so bad, it's good." But unlike Left 4 Dead -- which has fun characters, funny dialogue, and memorable settings -- this game's bland, buggy, and not offering much to single players.
A decent mix of base defense and zombie shooting, but it never really stood out from similar games. The combat is serviceable, and building up defenses can be satisfying for a while. However, the content feels a bit limited, and the gameplay starts to feel repetitive after a few runs. Not bad, just average.
It's hard to rotate objects, and zombies stand still sometimes running in place, and there's hardly anywhere to build as it turns red, and the timer for waves to build is short when it comes to high rounds. Refunded for now. Definitely wouldn't recommend paying full price unless you don't care that zombies run in place sometimes or not able to build as it difficult to rotate objects and can't build anywhere as it will turn red. It says file missing for stream overlay but achievements still pop up if you have overlay on.
The most weakly made rip-off of Killing Floor. I can tell the devs put ZERO effort into this game.
I would call this a "find the fun" game. You can tell just by looking at it that it's a cobbled-together Unity asset flip, but it's fun to screw around with for an afternoon. After playing less than an hour, I witnessed the zombies' pathfinding utterly break to the point that they were sitting perfectly still during their walk animation, I learned that they won't make any effort to break a tiny wooden fence but instead take any path (no matter how long) around it, and I experienced a bug where my weapon could no longer be fired after I bought an ammo upgrade. I don't remember how I got this game. Probably from some bundle or another. I absolutely did NOT pay $15 for it, nor would I recommend that to anyone. This probably sounds like a negative review, but some people, myself included, enjoy trying out an occasional buggy mess of a game. Especially if you can play with friends or stream the experience. If you want an ACTUAL good zombie horde game, just get Killing Floor 1 lmao.
This game.... is. It's alright. The atmosphere created by the levels, their artistic style, is pretty darn good. Makes for a spooky zombie game. The actual layout design though seems to be close to copy+paste for each one. It's a very basic horde wave shooter. Kill zombies, buy gun, build stuff, loop as needed. Doesn't take long to 100% and that's good cause I don't know that I'd care to go much longer to get it. Overall alright but nothing to write home about. P.S. I don't actually know how I got this game. Humble Bundle? Packaged with some other game? No idea. Don't think I got it on purpose.
Last update in 2022, no dev activity, website gone. The game cannot be played offline with initial install. It needs to download a level from somewhere. The problem with that is that there is now way of knowing from where it's downloading that level because the dev is gone. With no dev around to ask, that in-game forced download is suspicious as hell. It was only just recently that another game was taken over by a malicious actor who installed malware with a surprise update. So i can't recommend this game because there is no way of knowing it's still trustworthy.
Why the title so similar to other (good) games? | KAMGUSTA's MINI REVIEW We have big players in town: Left 4 Dead, the one that started it all; Left 4 Dead 2, its great sequel; Left 4 Blood, an homage to the former; Killing Floor, with more focus on fast gameplay than on story; then all those released afterward, in the new genre we can call "survival FPS with zombie waves". This Blood and Zombie is nowhere near, simply terrible, lacking a minimum of gameplay, graphics, controls, maps, audio, hitboxes control, everything. AI is so terrible zombies come to you all perfectly aligned, allowing you to headshot them one after another without even moving the mouse.
