It's difficult to know how many locomotives have been swallowed by the suffocating blizzards of the Widow's Run. Cursed with creeping tales of things that lurk in the dark and overshadowed by frequent casualties, it now stands as your only path forward. Will you be able to survive?

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.17/day in the week to Jul 21 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Not every train that sets out on the Widow's Run is fortunate enough to return. Few conductors have braved this cold expanse and survived, fewer still have braved it and kept their wits intact to tell the tale. Desperate accounts told by men driven to the edge; stories of madness, storms, deadly cold… and strange creatures lurking in the darkness. Fight your way to escape the rails and outrun the storm in this single-player, survival horror game.
As the sole engineer on this journey, you must maintain your locomotive's heat, steam, and speed levels to progress. Be careful, as too much, or too little, of any of these resources could end in disaster.
As if managing an operational locomotive wasn’t difficult enough, you will also have to contend with the creatures haunting Widow’s Run. These creatures are rumored to be attracted to heat and movement, making you and your locomotive a prime target among the icy wastes of the mountain pass.
Only through careful balance will you be able to pilot and defend your train on the treacherous path through Widow's Run. So with your only way out being forward, will you be able to make it to the end?
• Manage the Heat, Steam, and Speed of Your Train - Each dial is a careful balancing act to keep your train moving.
• Defend Yourself - Armed only with a double-barrel shotgun and the sound of the train’s whistle, you must fight off the various creatures who will stop at nothing to end your journey.
• Explore the Mysteries of Widow's Run and Discover its Secrets - Not everything is as it seems. Will you be able to discover the hidden secrets of the mountain pass?
• Short Horror Narrative - Approximately 40 minutes of Playtime.

good but i finished it in 30 minutes without problem a good 1 dollar
I don't know which one of you devs decided to make the gremlins hide in the coal and disguise them SO well in it that they're downright impossible to see, not even their eyes sticking out, AND making the coal-grabbing animation uncancelable, but i wish you nothing but mildly stubbed toes and warm water
A great and short horror adventure that will have you stressed and freaked out for not going fast enough, going too fast and fending for your life in a winter wasteland.

good game, all i can say is go as fast as you can that is the key.
I like this game. I can see it as a FNAF-inspired game, but it has it's own mechanics that make it original, challenging-ish, and overall, fun. The gameplay is clean, fast, and to the point. My favorite bit is pulling the cord for the whistle; knowing how important the whistle is made me press the button as hard as I would pull the chord if my life depended on it. Overall, a solid game.
MY FAVORITE INDIE GAME RN. It's so good , don't listen to people saying its not Worth it , this is an amazing masterpiece 10/10 recommend.
This is one of the most engaging games I've ever played, which is amazing, given how simple it actually is. I was instantly blown away by the somber, yet hopeful winter vibe the whole thing carried throughout, and the sprinkles of lore keep me wondering in just the right way to keep it that way. It's all a matter of budgeting your time skillfully between all the mounting threats, which comes with experience, and is a very fun learning curve that never feels too steep. Think of Tetris. The endless mode is great in that way as well, especially with the custom settings you get to play with. To the devs, thank you for this underappreciated gem. Also, for the younger or more general squeamish gamers out there, don't worry. The only jumpscare can be easily prevented, and if you glance away from your screen while shoveling coal, you don't have to worry about it :)
Incredibly stressful but in a really fun way. Took me a little over an hour, but well worth the money! I'll likely play again to get the last few achievements and the true ending, and there's always the endless mode option if I want to get my heart rate up indefinitely. You should absolutely give this a try if it looks interesting to you, because it truly was a blast.
Very good short indie game! *sometimes game bug and freeze when you able to shoot the train switch track in the last second before it leave the screen
Great game. highly recomend
