Loco Motive

I'm a fan of point and click games but tend to get discouraged if I don't really know the next step (hater of escape rooms for this reason). This isn't a game that has many if any convoluted puzzles or tasks, it's more story driven and I love it for that reason (and for the voice acting it's sooooo good). A lot of the negative reviews I saw were about the story and the puzzles not being challenging. I found the story very entertaining overall, but it didn't make me laugh very often. I probably wouldn't get this if you're expecting a comedy special. I was invested in the plot and really enjoyed the characters; I love it for what it is.

Doesn't seem to decide when it will allow you to take something before you need it or not, so I encountered multiple scenarios where I got stuck because I already checked an item I needed, didn't let me pick it up at the time thinking oh it's just a scenery joke," only to be told by the hint system "Hey remember that thing? You can go pick it up now." It doesn't help when there is a bit of moon logic to the puzzles when you don't have all the items you need, especially when they let you carry around other items you don't need for forwever. It is Incredibly infuriating. It's also not that funny despite it clearly being th main aim.

Very fun as cartoon game, crazy and illogical, but you need that illogical logic XD

Great story, fun characters, and a very fun mechanic of being able to switch between the three main protagonists. This was an entertaining way to spend a weekend. I'd love to see a sequel!

A fun classic point-and-click adventure. Some of the puzzles can be downright ridiculous, but the great humor, excellent voice acting, and interesting story more than make up for it. There's also a built-in hint system, and I'd strongly recommend making use of it if you don't want to end up stuck with no idea what to do next.
